We aren't out yet.. a referendum result does not have to be followed in this country.. and a second poll is being called for because lots of people are waking up this morning and realising their mistake.
Rubbish. Its the losing side that want another chance. I bet they would have scoffed at a call for a re-vote if it been the other way round and remain had won.

What happens if a second vote was still for out? Would they want a 3rd, 4th, 5th?

What happens if a second vote was for in? Surely it would only be fair for another re-vote then. Best out of 3...5...7...?! Keep going until remain wins?!

The majority has spoken. Accept it and move on.

OK so now we are out of the EU ( or will be shortly)

    What prepping will you do?

    What should we do?

I'm trying to stay on track, with always having, extra pet & human food, stock of loo rolls. Bottled water. Candles, torches.

Cash hidden, money spread over more than bank.

Trying my best to buy British.

    :j

Hoarding - the best of British values.:D

Actually Farage suggested a revote as the results were too close and he suggested it needed to be a majority of 60/40 .. and he was pushing for a leave vote so you are utterly wrong.

They still dont have to go with any result.

So if there's a re-vote and remain win 52/48, what then? Yet another vote? Keep going until we reach the magic 60/40?

That is utterly ridiculous to even suggest.

Farage is the type of idiot that would have been squealing for re-vote if remain had won. There are plenty like that on both sides.
  • The people of the nation have spoken, that's how democracy works whether the result of the vote makes you happy or not. The alternative to democracy is a dictatorship where no choice would be offered at all. I can only speak for me but that would make me much less happy than not getting the decision I wanted.

there was less than 75% turnout and less than 5% difference in yes/no there should be a redo.. that isn't enough of a majority to be a reasonable margin.. and there are so many who voted leave as a protest thinking it wouldn't really happen and was a 'protest' like voting ukip was in the general.. there have been many people saying they would vote differently if they could.

It was actually a few days ago Farage said that there should be at least the 60/40 split so it wasn't a reaction to the result. Though he did admit to their arguments to leave being a pack of lies and deceptive which anyone with a shred of common sense already knew.. we will be the next Greece.. bankrupt country and noone to bail us out, our small businesses will fail (costs of fuel and materials will be too expensive) and all our rights will be wittled away.. before we even get to the important stuff like where will our food come from? and at what cost? binning of the nhs and destruction of everything else.

I'd recommend stockpiling anything that is going to last years.. dried and tinned foods for example.

And I've found a lovely house in Scotland, decent schools close by and just need employment nearby and we are off.. ahead of them leaving Crap Britain.

What are we going to do when all the migrant workers go home because our money isnt worth the paper (cloth/plastic) it is printed on and we get all the emigrated pensioners back from Europe...

I don't think even our government is so stupid they can't work or nearly half may try it on for another referendum. Why would they listen when it is so obvious that a lot of people are upset and if they allow another referendum they will upset even more.
