Exactly. The Leave contingent can't get on with the process like you suggested because the Leave contingent are not Prime Minister.
That is why I suggested that it was Cameron who was stalling because he doesn't want to start the process.
The Leave contigent may have thought how they would go about exiting from EU but again they do not make up the cabinet. The Leave contigent is a cross party group.
I suggested that the Prime Minister nor the cabinet had much in the way of Brexit Planning because the Prime Minister supported and campaigned for Remain.
I believe there 'to be no rush' if that's what Boris said because the markets were in a wobble as was the value of the £. The PM had annouced his resignation. It would be twisting the knife should the process started yesterday.0 -

It makes sense to allow the dust to settle a bit before starting the process of leaving. The vote was only two days ago after all. The Tories need to elect a new leader who will be PM, and that will take a bit of time. I suppose then a cross-party group will be formed to handle negotiations. Leaders from the EU member states are due to meet next week, so Britain's withdrawal will be discussed then. Angela Merkel has been quoted as saying there is no need for any nastiness during the withdrawal process.
Things will settle, people will get on with their lives and hopefully we will be able to maintain a good relationship with the EU and the rest of the world. One life - your life - live it!0 -

This has happened before, someone posting on a thread for the first time in order to attack another poster. Whether it is justified or not is irrelevant. Either things will turn nasty, in which case the thread will be closed and maybe a PPR or two handed out...or we can get back to the topic of the thread and discuss what preps and precautions people are taking during the "interesting" days ahead. One life - your life - live it!0
