Well, I did not see that coming!

DS just said, "no, I'm not leaving. I'm staying here" bless.

    And now, we wait!

Convo dd1 heard at the pub last night, someone honestly thought we were voting to become apart from Europe and the bedrock would be severed and the Isles would be punted out gondolier style. Not sure how much alcohol was consumed prior to that thought being aired.:rotfl:

Reassured DS we don't have to move house!

If that's a 7yr olds reaction, imagine the mass hysteria we'll get from grown-ups!

Yes he has, will be gone by October. Bad day all round, awful blooming week.

    Lots of flying done here:
    HHI
    Some doors wiped upstairs
Bedside table emptied and sorted, waiting on delivery for new one later today
    Bedroom quickly dusted
    S&S'd bathroom
    Hoovered through quickly
    Dog walked

Paid stuff now, have to speak to horrible boss today, can't see the day improving really. Roll on 5pm.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Morning all.

Flying limited today as the plumber is here fitting a new bath. Zack is being good and staying in the kitchen. He initially barked when the door went but other than that he's been quiet :j I can't get upstairs, I can't get in the kitchen, I have no water, and I'm not going to vacuum as that stresses Zack. Instead I'm going to get on work stuff while watching the news.

I have the feeling its going to be a long day...

1 load of washing done and pegged out

    Ironing basket emptied

Waiting for ds1- ongoing. I want help with the charity shop bags. He is going to the barbers.

Nnb's asked if I could take a parcel in. So I hope it doesn't arrive whilst I pop out.

Have some of mine - temporary pipe to WM burst this morning, just before the new, replacement TD arrived. The lovely delivery lads took pity on me and switched off the water and disconnected everything, so now just waiting for my emergency plumber to come [STRIKE]laugh[/STRIKE] and fix it.

Oh, and to add insult to injury, it's raining!

Dizzy - Oh no!!! :( Our stop tap doesn't turn the water off completely so I've had the kitchen taps dribbling since 9am. Now we've got heavy rain showers and my bladder is not happy with all this water :o

I've ended up spending the morning on social media reading various things, and entertaining Zack who is currently locked in the kitchen. I had a feeling this might happen.

Plan for the afternoon is to play with Zack for a bit, maybe take him for a short walk as he's been so well behaved, but I really need to get my work done. :o On the plus side, the plumbers seem to be finished so I can get on with stuff soon.
