    Good Morning all,

Apologies for being absent for a couple of days, childcare and the awfulness that was the result yesterday have kept me pretty occupied. Thank you so much for the good wishes about DS behaviour, rather than moaning I have taken decisive action, he needs more time out of the home with other littlies, so come September he starts at a local charity playgroup where you leave them there for 3 hours, he will be going three mornings a week, it will be good for him and me.

On to today, DH is away so I am flying solo with the smalls but we have a nice day planned. No flying but I will be fully back on it next week.

Bossy - what a palava love. I really hope you get straight answers very soon.
Dizzy - strength and coping vibes coming your way. I hope you are getting lots of support from DH and others to cope with all this carp.
Iona - glad you had a lovely day
Mrs MP - Your kondo'ing efforts are fabulous, I cheer you along on the KM thread too, I did a little dance of joy at your 20 bags of recycling last week!

Right, off to throw some clothes on then go to the PO sorting office to collect something.

    Have marvellous days all x

I've come to the conclusion there aren't enough hours in the day. Something needs to be done!

What a depressing day yesterday. I'm with Piggers on moving to Scotland. The whole thing is intensely depressing. On the plus side, Dd1 woke up at six thirty yesterday asking to watch the news! Very proud. She was quite upset at the result.

Dizzy really it could be a soap opera. Who would play you? Have you bought any lottery tickets recently, you are due some luck!

Bossy , horrible situation re your Dd. The teacher shouldn't be using language like that anyway (especially about the wrong child!). Hope it sorts out x

Right, today. OH is reluctantly on a stag night until tomorrow, so me and the girls are going out this afternoon, going into town to the local museum and then to the pictures. This morning flying. Daily stuff, plus some gardening I think. Have a good day all x

Morning all. Things finally settling down a bit here after the horrendous week. I got nine hours uninteruppeted sleep last night, no nightmares, no listening out for OldDog and feel so much better for it. Probably the first good night's sleep in 14 months.

So today, I have WUDUPA, changed our bedding (which is now on the line), walked the dog and watered in the greenhouse.

I'm out all day now so will catch up with you all later.

    Have a great day everyone.

Very very sad - 1st day with new car. What made me excited? I could get to Lidl and Aldi for the first time

Less happy about the fact that Ozzie christened the car on the way to the vet. Grrrrrr.

Also, the NHS has f**ked up my weekend. DH and I were going to a concert tomorrow night, but they 'forgot' despite 3 months notice to organise a locus to cover the weekend night shifts. So some poor sod (Muslim and fasting) was called back in after a full shift yesterday to cover last night, and DH is doing tonight and tomorrow night before a full day on Monday.

Have a great day. It's glorious weather here.

I can't follow pigpento Scotland, but I don't think it's going to be a safe haven. Europe won't want us on our own, and I don't think the EU will still be around. I think we've just holed the EU below the water line.

On that cheerful note, I'm off to walk the beast, and then drive to the gym without having to worry about bus times. It was wonderful yesterday. I had time to wash my hair properly and *whispers* put make-up on. The L&M noticed immediately when he got home

The EU are reportedly trying to persuade our government to leave sooner rather than later according to The Guardian.. so yes they clearly do want us out. We weren't one of the first to join and are not instrumental in any way.

It would be interesting to redo it in a few years with more younger people and fewer old people.. What we actually need is equal distribution of wealth and a world government.

Opticians with the 3 smalls... this will not be fun, they've been up since 5am!

    Afternoon all.

Its another busy day here. The whole house needs cleaning, and I have an additional list of personal stuff which is growing. :(

I have to take DD clothes shopping tomorrow for something smart for a party. She doesn't do dresses/skirts, floral, frills, lace, and likes to keep covered up. She currently lives in jeans, t-shirts, shirts or hoodies. Its going to be an interesting day and I can see bribery being used to get her to at least try on some things that she's not sure about. We'll hit the websites first, but I bet we come home empty handed. :( Must also remember to cut her hair so it has a chance to loose the "just cut" look, plus its irritating me and her dad.

Work and some personal stuff on hold over the weekend, I'll get stuck in next week. I'm adding back in the jobs which need doing again. DD is going to have to pull her finger out tonight and help.

Not certain if I posted yesterday, but the big news was the collection of the wedding dress. First time she has seen it withholds, head dress and veil.

    She looked absolutely stunning.

I was absolutely worn out by the whole experience.

Back sofa surfing today. Love to all..
