Morning lovely ladies - just having a cuppa, then jumping in the bath (with small people obviously) to kick start my day.

DH and I watched a film late last night and didn't get to bed until gone 1am, so my eyes feel a bit sandy this morning. We are on the final day of mud excavations and it is lovely and sunny, so perhaps all will be well in Dizzy World today.

Emergency plumber fixed the fountain in my laundry room, NDN got our reluctant bonfire going with excess beeswax and old hive frames, Mrs NDN has offered help with speech therapy for Tiny who was referred for assessment following his two year review, so feeling a tad better than Friday! I can now laugh about taking a hammer to the back door lock as the bloomin' thing broke locked down, but the door looks like we've had a police raid  Luckily it's being replaced!

Wincing with you Pigpen on the cost of school shoes. We too may have optician charges to find next week as Small has been tested at school and his right eye isn't great, so have booked him and me in for a proper test...

Poor Zack Nicki :( hope he's OK now.

Wedding dress arrival sounds very exciting CY xxx
  • Morning all,

Had a lovely girly day with my DDs yesterday while OH was away, museum, fish and chips and cinema. Consequently no flying done. Am going to do a bit today, the garden needs attention if the weather holds up.

CY I bet she looked amazing, take it easy today x

Dizzy here's to a good day!

Nicki glad you managed to get it out, aren't dogs silly x

    Morning!

DH and DS1 have gone fishing, wont see them again until 6 or 7pm tonight. DH is sulking. At 9pm last night after working most of the day, doing housework and taking DS2 somewhere DH wanted me to sit down with him and watch a film. I was just too tired and at 10pm was in bed asleep which upset DH because he hardly sees me at the moment. Well that might be because I am working two jobs to keep us afloat at the moment but there you go.

Major cupboard sorting underway. DS2 is to take to cricket then I am loading the car up with stuff for the tip. Clothes are being flung as we speak. I am in the mood for flinging!

Oooh CY how exciting! Take it easy today x

Proud mum alert! Both daughters completed the Race for Life in about 40 minutes.

Pigpen - I feel your pain 're glasses. My OH visibly quakes when I go. Bills of £300+ are common. Sadly I have keratoconus...

CY - well done to your girls. I've just been looking at the pictures on the Press site.
