Phoned got same offer, plus dvd as I'm a supposed platinum customer plus I was offered there mobile contracts at half price which I declined. Calls free and texts you just needed to pay the gb you used. I got through 20 minutes before closing.
I had the same deal last year too plus free BB, half price line rental and half price anytime calls, had you finished your notice period when you phoned them?0 -
Anyone had luck with broadband. Went on live chat, yesterday and all they would offer is unlimited broadband for £5pm. Have had free broadband for a number of years but they seem to be playing hardball this time0

I've been reading these posts with interest
.
We've had Sky for 17 years and always paid full wack for Sky+ TV+Sports (one box, no multiroom, no movies) ~ £75/month
Eventually pursuaded the account holder ie the wife) to cancel.
We were offered 50% for 12 months (in our sky online account info, this has now dropped to 30%).
Asked about upgrade to full TV package on SkyQ only offered 25%.
Wife got a call but she was busy and they said they would call back but they didn't.
Tried the app messanger but the rep could not deal with us, as we were going through the process of cancellation.
Tried the Facebook messanger. We were told we had a 50% offer for 12 months, but they couldn't offer any deals on SkyQ, as this was a different department and we would have to ring up - no doubt the same lot who never rang back?
Most advice seems to be let the cancellation complete, but I wondered if anyone took a 12 month Sky+ deal and then tried to upgrade to Sky+??0 -
After cancellation cuts you off, give a few days then check the 'left within 12 months' link on your MY Sky. That's where my best offer appeared, previous ones having gone up and down.0

My December future bill finally came up yesterday (my billing date is the 2nd) and it's showing my 60% TV discount has gone bye bye.
More disappointing is my LR is still discounted to £17.40 from last March when the price rises hit but the ADSL has gone from free to a partial payment (presumably £10 in January). I was under the impression the discounted LR would have extended the BB discount too but apparently not. Looks like I'm back in the dance again early.0 -
to confirm that it is best if you let the cancellation go through. sometimes they have phoned me the day it's due to go off with a cracking deal. at the moment I pay £37 a month for sky variety. line rental & fibre broadband ..
I do have free sat in another room and it's perfectly fine if sky do disconnect
they soon phone me....

Currently out of contract for sky broadband. So phoned to cancel. They offered :
- 15 a month for line rental and broadband.
TV with a 1TB Q box at
- 7.56 for original,
- 10.56 for variety,
- 12.56 for the box sets etc package.
Also offered a 5 a month sim only package for unlimited calls and texts with 1gb data. Does this seem resaonble or should I be looking for less than this? Only ever used freeview, I'm only an exisiting broadband and line rental customer. New contract lasting 12 months.
Thanks!0 -

If you have only ever used Freeview then I'd check the channels that you have access to and see if you would ever watch them should you upgrade to Sky tv.0 -
Sky are trying to push the combination of Q tv and phone/broadband, but you can have a contact without tv,if you prefer to stay with Freeview.
I doubt that Sky will repeat my current tv deal, so I'm very likely to be back to Freeview in a few months' time. (My husband rarely watches Sky tv; just the odd programme that he notices while I have it on the screen.)
Also, was there no mention of a setup fee for Q ? A problem with Q is that you have to return the box when you end your contract, whereas with the HD+ boxes, you could use the Sky dish to watch free to view channels.0
