Latest offer they don’t like getting rid of the admin charge also got to watch them like hawks as at the end they tried to charge me £2 a month more. I said just cancel the installation and while on cancel TV then they came up with the original offer on live chat they had offered me. So down to £50 a month for tv and broadband happy with that. I’m also saving £5 a month changing my Netflix from my BT account.
    No installation costs either.

Signature is normally £34, but you'll pay £22 (with an 18-month contract) Sky HD is normally £9, but you'll pay £5 Ultimate TV Add is normally £7, but you'll pay £6 Sky Broadband Ultrafast is normally £43, but you'll pay £17 (with an 18-month contract) Line Rental £0 Sky Pay As You Talk £0 (with an 18-month contract) Sky Q 1TB box is usually £99, but you'll pay £00 It brings your total to £50 a month and saves you £738 over the 18 months. Your offers will start today. A one-off admin fee of £20 will be added to your next bill
They won't get rid of the admin charge but they will give you a credit on your account - ask for a £20 credit.
  • Here's the package I've just signed up to (thanks to all the other posters, was very helpful). I'd cancelled my previous plan (£50 a month). They offered £60 in the cancellation period and this one yesterday (two days after my contract ended). They waived the £10 admin fee and put a £20 credit on my account so effective monthly cost of just over £55 a month (including Netflix).

I called 20 minutes before closing so there was some flim-flam about using other advisers' discount codes. Not sure whether it's the best offer I could have achieved but spares me any more moaning from my family.

How do people get in touch with sky about returning to sky ? I’ve looked on their site  and can’t see the live chat option for returning customers or is it a phone number ?

I’m out of contract with sky tv and due to send the box back in the next few weeks.

I just ring their 0800 number, or any customer services number, and when the automated system asks what you want I just say 'Winback'. It's no good speaking to other teams (if you get put through to them ask them to put you through) as they rarely can offer as good a deal as the Winback - aka Return-to-Sky - aka Comeback - team can.

Well was horrified to see how my sky +BB had jumped from  £71.50pm then increased to £98.50pm. Went on webchat and initially was offered
    sky signature for 24pm,
    netflix for 7pm,
    hd 5pm,
    multiscreeen 15pm
    BB for 19pm.

So down to  £70pm 18month contract on TV and BB but with  £40 admin fee!!!
scandalous. When i queried this they said this was due to the great offer they had provided me on their inflated full price of  £104.50 for the same package.
Asked could the admin fee be waived or credited- they then came back with a measly further  £2 off the package so   £68pm and  £30 admin fee.

I find it hard to believe after being a loyal customer for over 15 years this is the best they can do! great you offer me a third off your 'SKY HIGH' prices!!!!

then i quoted all the offers that new customers can get a flipping sky glass tv with signature and netflix for
£26pm half price multiscreen, half price BB and netflix only  £6pm. The agent just said I'm with retentions you need to call the sky glass team- I'm like i don't want/need a TV just saying its shocking the offers you throw at customers to hook them in and steal their hard earned cash each month.

Think I'll cancel and see what they offer as i've done this in previous years, really shouldn't have to though. SKY you should look after your loyal customers and listen when we say with the cost of living...get your prices in line....I hadn't budgeted a third more  £ £ £ for my TV viewing!!!

"Asked could the admin fee be waived or credited...", that's one mistake you made. You should always state that you will not pay an 'Admin Fee' regardless of the offer. It's price gouging and only reduces your 'offer' anyway.

Don't get snarky or aggressive with them as you'll get nothing. Keep it polite and just state your position.

Those prices they quoted aren't good obviously, what BB do you pay for?

Recently recontracted with them. Lots of back and forths and rejected offers, but this was the best I was able to get 10 days or so before being switched off.

    - Sky Signaure (£18)
    - Netflix UHD - (£6)
    - Sky Sports (£11)
    - Cinema (£12)
    - Sports HD (£2)
    - Sky HD (£6)
    - UHD (£3)
    Total £58pm

Might have got it cheaper if I had kept trying, but this was the best I has been offered by about £15pm over the course of 2 phone calls and multiple web chats.

An update I went back on to the web chat link in email about coming back the best they could do me

30 pounds including sky signature hd and Netflix i said I’d want it for areound 25 but they couldn’t do it
I then mentioned sky essentials they said price was 15 but due to being an excellent customer they would offer it me for 5 quid was hoping to get it for free lol but they wouldn’t do it

so I’m currently on sky essentials i for 5 quid  will informed of any new offers and i can call them up if i see any deals that they could match perhaps a Black Friday deal is my next focus

I've just given notice on my TV contract after over 20 years! I've not given notice on my phone & broadband yet, but may do soon.
During the notice period, did Sky call you or did you have to call them? I'm wondering if I will get a call if I have only cancelled my TV package.

I called them after they sent me a text to give them a ring. One retention guy said that the offers on your account change every Friday, so it's worth trying each week until you get something that you're broadly happy with.
