Sky TV retention deals ( post your haggling successes )

Sky changed the packages some time ago and discontinued some legacy freebies. Family is now called Boxed Sets and is the only package which includes HD on other than free-to-view channels.
Discounts are on packages and rarely include extras.0 -

Have you checked the bathroom for any Sky boxes?
If not, then the breakdown on 'My Sky' should list all packages, the full price and any discounted price you're paying, otherwise you're going to have to call Sky.
Edit: sorry, just noticed you've been on 'My Sky', ignore that bit.0 -
UPDATE:
So I have just come off the live chat and the phone.
LIVE CHAT - I was on a legacy "Variety" package that apparently included £12.00 for "Premium HD". (I checked all my bills going back 12 months and I cannot see this listed / called out anywhere). Anyway, to cut a long story short, if I changed to the Box Sets bundle it would be cheaper and I would still have the same channels I have now with the exception of the F1 channel. No great loss as I am not interested in F1 nor do I watch it. I was told to call 03442 41 41 41 to discuss going on to the box sets bundle. He confirmed my 60% discount would still stand.
PHONE CALL - Spoke to lovely Welsh lady who broke it all down for me and I decided to go on to the the Box Sets bundle. My monthly bill for the next 12 months will now be £27.40 and not £37 if I had stayed on the Legacy Package, and significantly less than the £67 I was paying before!. #HappyBunny0 -
In my notice period so was technically still a Sky customer during this negotiation. Went on chat under the options "Want to join Sky" and then "Existing Sky customer in last 12 months". Eventually offered:
Sky TV Variety Pack, Sky Fibre Unlimited, Sky Line Rental, Sky Talk Pay As You Go
£28.49 per month, 60% off TV, 50% off broadband, 50% off line rental
12 month contract
That's the best offer I've ever managed! Thought the line rental discount was a myth!0 -
Ok - I've given my 31 days notice.. will update..
So I have called Sky this morning - they are still offering me only 50% discount which I currently have. There are 60% discounts but not for me, I imagine this is for people who have been paying higher or full price over the previous year. Will update.0 -
Check the offers in the account section on your Sky box. I was originally offered 50% off for 10 months when I cancelled, 50% off for 12 months during my most recent web chat, and 60% off for 12 months on the Sky box. These "exclusive offers" are nonsense. And I've always been on the lowest TV package so it's not like they'd consider me as a premium customer.0

Thank you so much! - finally found the account section on my box - have just applied the 60% discount and my bill should now have dropped from £29.75 to £24 - I'm just calling Sky to confirm - if this is right - awesome result, thanks again all!0 -

Ah sorry - let me explain
Sky sports £27.50
Variety £32
Total £59.50
I already had the 50% discount
Total £29.75
I've just spoken to Sky and they say my new bill will be
£23.80
A good result.0
