In my experience the deal once the cancellation had gone through was a little better.

My offer once the service had ended was this:
    SKY ENTERTAINMENT £19
    SKY CINEMA £12
    SKY KIDS £1
    SKY BOX SETS £1
    HD £1

    Total £34

The 'during cancellation' offer was £50 including a £12 multi-room which I have not added on this time so I'm only £4 better off per month if you added that back on. I can still move the viewing card to the other box if I want to use it there.

The entertainment package is for 12 months, the other items are 30 days notice to cancel.

I had to go looking for this offer online as they sent no emails or letters or messages to the box so they didn't seem to try very hard to get me back this year.

The best deal through negations I got through a phone call and live chat (this time for a relative) was £17 (Entertainment package) for 18 months and you can negotiate with them to get rid of the £10 Admin fee.

When I chose to cancel I was offered a £15 deal for 12 months on the mydeal page online.

I don't seem to be getting the option for live chat when I go through the Help system to "Cancelling Sky TV", all I can do is send them a SMS or Facebook message (or call, email, write). Is there some trick to getting on Live Chat?!

Use one of the other options rather than cancel.

All depends on the time of day, not all the options are always available. FYI, I found the FB messaging option the best to use, particularly as you have a saved record of your chat.

Been unhappy with my deal for a while and spoke with Sky via chat today as out of contract and want to cancel.

    Current package;

    Box Sets - £31.12
Sky Sports Complete Pack - £21.00
    HD Basic - £0
    Sky Sports HD - £6.00
    Sky+ - £0
    TOTAL - £58

I don't have Sky Q, multi-room, movies. A few friends pay £60 - £65 for pretty much full whack Sky Q package so I'm getting my pants pulled down for what I get.

Best they could do was £77 a month for Sky Q with Entertainment, Box Sets, Netflix, HD and Sports with £65 set up and a £10 admin fee. I said no thanks and have processed cancellation today.

Infuriates me how they even attempt to price their products when no one is paying the same amount for anything. Unless I get a pretty decent deal I'll see through the cancellation as just about had it with Sky. Customer for 10+ years.

has anyone on here had any luck with Sky reps you see in shopping centres? One offered me sky Q, entertainment and Sky fibre for £35 which is pretty good tbh

Obviously this is for new customers

Never tried them as I see far too many horror stories of good deals offered which Sky (or any other company come to that) won't honour.
