Spoke to live chat and wasn't satisfied with the offer so told them I was leaving..Switched off on 30th Dec.
I've since had 3 phone calls that almost immediately hang up when I answer. 1471 tells me they're from Sky but only a recorded message when I phoned it back it just says 'you have been called on behalf of Sky, we may call you back but if you don't want to recieve further marketing calls just phone ....)
Anyone else had this happen? Do these people have a set quota for calling people regardless of whether they talk to you or not? And last question, who do I complain to?I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Ive not accepted anything and a bit annoyed as im only cancelling my tv package so don't want to discuss BB or phone. Also last year I cancelled my multiroom and was immediately offered 50%off(was all online, clicked cancel and it took me to an offer screen, no speaking to anyone at all!)
Im due to be cut off in a few days so will go on chat tomorrow and push for 60% off tv with £100 credit and if they half multiroom I'll accept. Looks like this is the top deal people are being offered(will also insist on a rolling contract.
Does anyone know if they will upgrade to a 2TB box, as mine are 1TB, if that ?
Thanks in advance
Matt
There are 3 parts to your Sky Contract.
Sky Tv
Multi-Room (and Sky Go)
Sky Broadband
I would tackle each piece seperately. The "Complete" package was given out at £30 per month recently, bolt on the other discounts for multi-room and fibre BB then you could be paying less than £45 pm.0 -

Basically I was fed up with paying £40 a month for the basic package so bought a Humax box, set it up and rang Sky to cancel everything. After going through several options they offered this and I accepted.
We only get the basic channels but that is fine and any calls are charged so we use our mobiles as we have enough inclusive minutes.0 -

I believe their retention lines can only take outgoing calls. ie you can't call them.
Look on My Sky 'left within 12 months' which will have disappeared until you were cut off.0 -

They are under no obligation to call and offer a deal!
If you want to stay a customer, then check your current offers on "MySky", which will have been updated since your cancellation.0 -
They will only give me broadband for £21 something despite telling them there are better offers elsewhere and that they're offering £12 for 12 months for new customers. I'll go elsewhere!0

@Teddysmum et al,
Please be advised Sky unlimited ASDL Broadband and Phoneline package going for £12 per month presently with a £50 Cash Back from TopCashBack that tracks, with unlimited calls the package is a flat £20, excluding your £50 cash back payable within six months, Sky not being the fastest to payout - BT and PlusNet really uncompetitive presently and waste of time chatting to Plusnet retentions team - did that today and all I was offered was the same costs as last year, but minus a £50 credit given PN now offering a 50 quid signing up cash back, so, after a fair bit of work my side signed for 12 months with Sky at an actual cost of £18.30 pm for the package I arranged.0 -

Please can I ask what package you arranged for £18.30? Just curious as I've turned down a couple of offers with them tonight and cancelled my broadband/phone. Going to contact them tomorrow to see if they can improve the offers, so would be good to know what they're offering people.0 -
I thought it was a bad idea to cancel broadband/phone?0
