    That's pretty good deal - ~60% discount I reckon:T

I got offered a similar deal and on 12 months, not the usual 18 :) , with Sports and no cinema. I still rejected it as we dont watch much telly at the moment especially in the summer, and with the world cup on as well.

I'll wait until mid / end August, then try again.

Just been on the phone to sky, as my TV went off today after my cancellation and they wouldnt budge on price at all!

I only previously had the old variety bundle and paying around £16
I was looking into getting the Entertainment pack, Movies and Fibre (or Fibre Max) and the best they offered me was £20! Thats normal price for a new contract

    - I even said just logging into my account online there was an offer for £15 PM for 12 months offer come up but she said that she cant see that and may be online exclusive

Best for Fibre was a discount from £38.99, she went down to £32 and then £28 was the final price for normal Fibre but thats still a lot more expensive

I had a missed call from sky a couple weeks ago too so no idea what would have been offered then while my TV was still active but its gone off as of today!

Saw new customer offers last week too for Entertainment and Fibre for £40, so even my retention deal was more expensive

Sky just called me again with a rubbish offer. Box sets, HD, cinema with BB. £56 a month! Was previously paying £36 a month. She asked her manager (!) and got £20 credit. Same issue that they can!!!8217;t do a deal on everything. Have to do tv and B.B. separately. Said no obviously

Ive been off Sky for about 4 months now and dont miss anything except Game of Thrones, and Westworld. Other things like 'Sopranos' boxsets are simply 'nice to have'. THe kids used to miss Disney channel but theyve found similar stuff on Netflix and we use iplayer for bbc viewing.

Im looking at possibly Now TV to tie me over for a bit at least. offers at around £14 or so for a 3 month entertainment pass - why dont people prefer Now TV instead of Sky+? Is it the user interface is better in Sky+ ? Is it because on Sky+ you can record and the recording never expires?

Gave my 30 days notice for my TV package (everything except sports) last week and just had a call offering:

    Fibre Max Unlimited
    Line Rental
    Entertainment
    HD
    Kids
    Cinema
    Box Sets
    1tb Q Box

    For £70 a month.

I’ve been paying £53 a month for the same TV package, ‘standard’ fibre unlimited & a Sky +HD box.

What do you think - take it, or hold out for a better deal?
In need of a new signature! :rotfl:

Nail on the head!!! - also I found that the picture quality wasn't as good via Now vs the HD box.
