Well I'll accept one as a free upgrade rather than the £199 they wanted to charge me (for either box).Haven't seen anyone talking about the return of Sky Q kit altho' a few have appeared on ebay!!!
I had a quick look and you're right, considering they're supposed to remain Sky's property I'd guess that they won't work?0 -

even better excuse for me to get rid of Sky and just put up with BBC IPlayer and pay for Netflix
I'm sure I'll find other ways to watch GoT final season if I get rid of Sky heheh0 -

Don't forget that ITV and Channels 4 and 5 also have catchup sites, like iPlayer.
Now would not be for me as our internet (can't access fibre) is only 5+Mbps and the programmes cannot be stored on a Humax box.0 -
Offered Sky Fibre for £16 all in? No additional fees. Thoughts?0

If that's the limited Sky fibre (25GB usage) - not much of a deal.:)0 -

Rolling monthly, 12 months or 18 months? If 18 months is the price for the full term? If so (or either of the first two) I'd take it.0 -
The highest offer I received this year was during the cancellation webchat in August- 60% off on an 18 month contract with £10 admin fee. I wouldn’t agree to an 18 month minimum term, so declined.
A mailshot during the notice period offered 50% (12 month contract without admin fee); then 8 weeks after cancellation Sky sent a mailshot offering 40% (12 month contract without admin fee) .
So, the offers I received are in decline!
In the meantime, I took the opportunity that presented itself, to buy enough Now TV boxes with one month sports passes at £19.99 each (well below standard price) to cover the current football season; and after re-selling the unneeded boxes, the Sky Sports passes have cost me about £14 per month net.
So, my only “need” of Sky TV- Sky Sports- is now sorted, and I can look again at if/where to obtain Sky Sports in August 2018.0 -
Just phoned Sky to ask when my 50% off TV deal expires. She told me that my deal had been incorrectly taken off. She is going to give me a call back later this afternoon, when they have sorted out the fiasco.
I am going to raise a complaint when she calls back and ask for compensation or a GOGW.
Sky have extended my rolling contract for another 12 months:beer::beer: !0
