Offered £19 per month for 100 mb broadband, line rental and inclusive calls, 12 month tie in. They have noted it on my account as said I will have a think anout it as our internet has been awful lately. They have said they have done a few tweaks to router and should be ok, just a bit concerned being stuck with a service that poor. Assume this is a great price though?Jan Grocery challenge

That is a really great price. I'm currently paying £20 for the same along with basic TV (but don't use TV).
What sort of package were you on before, and was this an offer from them calling you back ?0 -
They put me on this package last year a day or two before my contract was due to end. Offered me £25 first today when I said I will cancel as had poor internet recently they said can do £19 again. Offer was from me calling to cancel.Jan Grocery challenge

Thanks - Was that when you phoned them? - Very interested, as mine is due to expire soon, so will be calling for a 'deal'.0 -
Price was originally given when Retentions called me last year. My current Contract ends end Nov, I phoned them today and was offered £19 again (after declining £25 they initially offered today).Jan Grocery challenge

Ongoing TV BB and Phone
Gave notice to leave in Sept - given a rubbish offer.
Outbound telephoned me - 8/9 with offer -200 mb BB
Player TV
Weekend Calls
or
£34.00 for 12 months and no price hike.
Originally said £29 for 100 mb.
I said I would check with OH they said they would ring back.
I either missed this call or didn't get one.
Service issue 7/10 so I rang and explained offer above, was told this would be applied.
Email 17/10 with a different offer so I rang and was told this offer was not available, I would be placed on notice again and outbound would ring me.
My account is now up to £163 - one missed payment of £48 and the rest in the loyalty discount finishing. My equipment is about 6 years old. It is a joke !
Telephoned them again this morning - the offer is NOT available anymore, the best she could offer was keeping my current equipment and 70 mb bb, basic tv, talk weekends - £45 !! No new equipment !
She said - there is no record of me being called 8/9 which I know happened as I posted the offer on here. Also only 10% of customers get a call from Outbound I shouldn't expect it to happen. Their "customer service has been more than helpful and the offers are on the phone offers and should be accepted then" - I pointed out that I hadn't been told this I had been told I would get a phone call back, not once but TWICE and by two different virgin people.
Sorry for the long rant.............I am now due to be cut off 17/11.
But find another BB..............although Virgin comes up as the best in out area the service we get currently is pants so something else has to be better.
What with gas and electric doubling and a bill I could boil my head currently !!
Have a good day guys :j

Yes that is a decent deal since it includes BT Sports. The deal you had before was absolutely fantastic though, though these days Virgin aren't as generous.0 -
Thanks for that . Feel better that haggling worked - they waived the installation fee, sending an engineer to install new v6 on 1st December too0

I had 200mb broadband for £20pm last year. To get the deal there they threw in basic phone with free line rental (I don't need the phone -it's not plugged in).
Renewal is up but the best they can offer is £43 at the moment! Cancelled two weeks ago - no calls since. (virgin landline redirects to my mobile so it hasn't been missed...)0
