Gave my 31 days notice to cancel on Saturday and was told "best we can do is £34pm" for 70mb and phone line.

After speaking to retentions this afternoon, its £19pm just for the broadband. Happy with that.

    Just got my call tonight.

    Offered 70mb & Phone for £22

Asked how much for 100mb....£25 but then offered to upgrade to 150mb for same money (£25) so went for that.

Also got new Superhub 3 coming free to replace my original superhub.
  • Cancelled at the weekend, got the call on Tues and offered £35 per month for TV XL, 200Mbps Broadband and Phone for 12 months. Wouldn't discount the new V6 box so paid £64.94 for that and its already installed, so much better that the the Tivo.

Yes, they called me and yes it is for 12 months. And it is actually £18pm - same offer that new customers can get for 50mb.
  • Today i given my 30 days notice. My 18 months contract was £68 for 12 month then £88 for reminder 6 months. With price increases etc i now pay £97pm for xl tv sky sports basic phone and 200mb bb tivo box down stairs, v+ upstairs. When i called to 'haggle' the best the guy could offer was half price sky sports for 6 months. Needless to say i asked if that was the best he could offere and he said yes!
So now i wait and hope i get 'the' call! ( btw, do i have to have selected a contact preference in my account settings?)
