How long ago was that? I renewed for 6 months earlier this year when the price rises kicked in and no one was managing to get 1gig for less than £35studentsaver_889 said:
Yes I get it for £28 with maxit TV and phonespacemanc said:Anyone got a good deal on 1 Gig fibre and nothing else? The best price they're offering me on cancellation is £45 (Currently paying £39, which has crept up from £35 at contract start). I'd consider staying for £35 when retentions call.0 -
Could you post a screenshot of your contract please? As I have just recently renewed with retentions and got 350mb and chatter anytime for £28.studentsaver_889 said:

How much would I expect to pay for M125 broadband with phone? Don't really need the phone.
They wanted £31pm.0 -
Those that are existing customers, when it comes up to renewal - can you still renew on your current package? Those that want a second box and TNT sports, I’d like to know what the options are. Anybody know?mits999 said:Just so everyone is aware TNT sports is now an add on they can charge anywhere between £1 to £18
also ultimate volt £85 package has been replaced with mega volt £85 you now get a lower speed from 1gb down to 500mb, also you get 1 tv box less and TNT SPORTS is not included
i really can see virgin not doing well from this your actually better off with sky from now on0 -
I don't think so. TNT Sports has been completely removed and they've rebranded all the packages. You might be able to negotiate a deal with TNT Sports, but at an extra subscription cost. I'll report back when outbound customer services hopefully get in touch with me tomorrow.Liberal123 said:

All the best, I hope you get the deal you desire. I do fully understand why people choose to stream tv online when you get ridiculously ripped off for tv packages which are going through the roof.jcrennie said:

I've just learned about the TNT Sports move. This could well be the final straw. It's the only live TV (not available freeview) that we watch and the additional cost of the bundle as opposed to just broadband was negligible i.e. never paid over £45 for Maxit (or equivalent names) in last 5 years. The contract still has a good bit to run so no "panic", it'll be the usual price rise that'll spur my next contact with them. We're very likely to be broadband only customers in the future and that just opens the market massively as we've been FTTP enabled for a couple of years at this stage.0
