Spoke to Virgin about a week ago who gave me an upfront credit to cover the cost of the price increase until my contract ends in Aug 22.
Spoke to them again today and said I was still thinking about leaving and they said I wont get a price increase until my contract ends and they will also give me £2.40 discount per month until the end of the contract.
Not bad considering I only paid £47 a month prior to this for the Bigger Bundle with M350 broadband!0 -

Has anyone had any joy at renewing but with a shorter than 18 month contract? I’m going to be moving house within the next year and I don’t want to get hit with cancellation fees in case virgin isn’t available in my next home. Was hoping to get it on a rolling contract but they said it’d be full price for that. Currently on m100. Got offered £20 for 18 months or £26 for m200 but can’t commit to 18 months.1

Folks, do they normally send out a confirmation email of an agreed deal?
I was offered the Bigger Bundle @ £45 last week which I'm happy enough with but I've not had any confirmation. Do I need to call (and hold. . . . .) again?0 -
They usually do, but you can check your account online too.

Yes. The price rise doesn't apply.
