  • I’m currently paying £26 for upto 200Gb BB only...no phone or TV.
i think I’m getting £15 off the full package....contract will end in Feb....what should I be aiming for...would still like it to be below £30.

    thanks

At least you've managed to get through to put your cancellation in!  :) I can't even get that far!

they don’t call everyone back..however as there’s lockdown on and people working from home, if they do call, could well be that there’s a delay

not too sure if I got a good deal...
I was paying £56.50 for Maxit TV + Second Box + M200 Broadband + Telephone, my bill was set to go up to £90

I rang up and spoke to someone in retention and told them I would be interested in having faster broadband and a sim card, I spoke to someone who said the best price they could do would be £71..I said I would think about it. I called back a few days later and was told the previous person I spoke to priced it wrong..it should be £81 as they forgot to add the second box. However, as a good will gesture they would honor it at £71 so I went ahead...

I am now paying £71 for Maxit TV + Second Box + M350 + Telephone + 5GB SIM  (New customers would be paying £69).

I really wanted to join Sky but there Broadband isn't quick enough...I am lucky enough to live in an area with native FTTP but I feel 150MB will feel a little slow when I've been using 200mb for the past 12 months.
Sounds expensive that..you probably should have put cancellation in..however it’s not a given they call back with better offer, but at your contract price they probably would have.  Mind you with everyone back to wfh, could be long delay in calling back. I doubt you would have noticed the speed difference to be honest..remember back in the day cut back to 50mb from 100mb, didn’t notice it much on normal browsing and streaming..

Thanks I can't really fault the service and £2 more a month than new customers  is not too bad I guess...would of really loved the ultimate oomph bundle for this price but like I said I can't fault the service....

In regards to the speed yes I agree with you for streaming and browsing there will be little difference but in my job I have to download big data sets from anywhere between 300 GB - 800 GB at a time so the extra speed helps!

@ DonnySaver, keep at it took me a while but got there in the end!
@ PZ19, yeah i understand there could be a delay but after reading about the price increases across the board i doubt they will bother with me, shame as been with them since the olden days ntl and before!

I'm with VM and paying £49.49 for M100 broadband and free weekend calls, want to get rid of the calls as me and the wife use our mobiles so don't need the calls package, i'm also out of contract. Been trying to get through every day since Jan 4 but waiting for ages just wanting to see what they can offer me to reduce my outgoings. Thought i'd just switch but i suppose i have to contact them.

Terry - I've been paying £23/month for M100 broadband and free weekend calls so they've definitely had your pants down there I'm afraid. My deal is going up to £44 from next month and I'm not happy about that! I'm trying to renegotiate anything under £30/month. If I get to £25 I'll be delighted.

You will definitely get that cheaper, call them see what they offer first, that will definitely save you money, and if still not happy put cancellation in
