Their cheapest package for phone and broadband is £49. You get a very good speed but isnt it about time they were made to offer an economy package where you pay less for a slower speed.0

You dont need a phone line for cable.
Meaning the cheapest package is £370 -

lol. £10 Or simply dont and offer 50mb for £37?0 -
Do tell how you do this legally!
Its not legal. However look at Spotify as an example.
Its price and ease of use wiped out a huge user base for illegal downloads.
A reasonable price and convenience goes a long way....or any other way
Afraid not an MSE type topic0 -

Its 100mb now isnt it. And yeah they dont offer what i call an economy package because they dont have to and dont care about low income customers. I think a government creating something like this rather than free broadband for everyone is much more sensible.0 -
With VM, why don't they hold on to their customers offering better deals.
My contract will shoot from £23 to £42 in January!
My advice look after your customers and they will stay will you.0 -

They and their ilk have long dropped any recognition of customer loyalty in (the financial) favour of hooking new customers in with tempting offers, then realising a majority will stay, as you keep increasing the price, and therefore profit.
Sure, they invest a little in retaining customers who bother to look elsewhere, but expect to lose a few. Only a mass exodus would make them think their business model needs reviewing.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards.
