Easily negotiated below for £25.89:
TV - Player (M), Virgin TV V6 Box, powered by TiVo
Broadband - M100 Fibre Broadband
Phone - Telephone Line Rental, Free Voicemail, Talk More Weekends
Not too bad?
That’s a good deal IMHO. With the increase now, i’ll be paying more than that just for 100mb BB alone.
Just had the increase e-mail today so will be phoning them tonigh.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

Called up as bill was going up to £41 for 200mb plus landline weekends.
Was offered £32 final offer so cancelled. Got a callback the next day from retentions, was offered £29, declined, then £26 for 200mb no landline, which I took.
So 200mb fibre only for £26 for 12m, happy with that!0 -

Another good deal IMHO.
I've just put my notice in to cancel. They immediately offered to cancel the price increase for 6m which I turned down saying even then it was too expensive at £25 a month for 100 Meg. He proceeded to tell me that was an excellent deal but I said i'd happily move to Sky for £21 a month thanks very much.
So cancellation in, now the waiting game starts.
One funny thing, as he was reeling off the T&Cs / process for cancellation, he came out with the line "...but you already know all that because I can see you call up to cancel every year...." :rotfl:
So on the hand it amused me and made me a little proud that I don't let them take the Michael with price rises, but on the other hand i'm wondering if this means they're getting wise to people putting notice in and waiting for a call back... and so won't play ball. I'm hoping that's not the case but time will tell.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

I was half expecting to be offered a downgrade to 50MB speed to get a cheaper price, and while 50 MB down is more than I can make use of or appreciate, had been prepared to reject that outright as it only gives you 3 MBPS upload (!). But got offered 100 at an acceptable price.0

Manged to get the Bigger Bundle + Sports package for £53 a month (Shoots up to £108 after 12 months)
Was previously paying around £62.
Quite happy with the deal to be honest.
I'm also getting M200 as opposed to the M100 which is advertised on their website for this package for some reason.0 -
That sounds like a pretty good deal! Was that for broadband only or do you have a phone package (+ line rental) with that also at that price?
Thanks!0 -
That’s with a phone package and line rental.
Not sure what I get with the phone but I never use it to be fair so I’m not fussed.0 -

Think that is the same package as I’m on assuming big bundle includes Bt sport. V similar price to you at c£57pm (after factoring in one off credit to bring down from c£62pm) albeit contract will be ending in a few months plus price rise to come. Was your new deal achieved by phoning up to cancel and then getting a call back from outbound Retentions (aka loyalty team)?0 -
Yeah, it’s the one with BT Sports and Sky Sports.
It was achieved by outbound retentions after I cancelled. I was actually going to move to BT and get one of their packages for £41 but I was more than happy to stay after they got in touch.
They offered this package without Sky Sports (Which I think is just called the Bigger Bundle) for £44 but for an extra £9 a month I though it was worth it, especially with the footy season kicking off in a few weeks.0 -
Everytime you get a deal to stay, they kill their competition. You get a fantastic service, you dont contribute to the growth of BT/openreach and you are happy. Virgin continue to develop for the future.
