I've been meaning to contact Virgin Media to haggle (haven't done it for years) - now I hear that they are increasing prices. Is it best to phone them to haggle now, before the price rise is announced, or better to wait until it comes into effect?0
-
may as well do it now.
though if you haven't haggled (or changed package) within the last 12 months, it will make little difference.
You need to research other deals, to quote to them, to ensure they believe you will leave.
Check contract is correct within 14 days, after doing a deal0 -
I would do it now.
On Monday I phoned to cancel, they phoned me back yesterday and I managed to get what I wanted for £32 a month, I was previously paying £92 but I have cut off the TV, so I got 350MB BB plus phoneline for £32 a month
Gone to NowTV. Does everything I need for £16 a month. Huge savings0 -

Just waiting for the letter informing me of the price rise before I give my 30 days notice. This will be the third time in about a year as I never got a call back from retentions for the previous two attempts and had to cancel the cancellations.0

I called them today after my discount ended and received the price rise notification.
Unlike previous years they did not offer any discount at all and they did not attempt to retain my custom.
My services are disconnecting at the end of the month and I,m off to Vodafone superfast2.0 -
