Very busy morning. Emptied the bedroom and took up the carpet and underlay. Can't take it to the tip until I get my car back as DP car is too small.

Sanded down and glossed the skirting boards. Washed my sons bedding and took all the tools out of his room that we've used over the past week.

Just need to gloss the doors and then it's ready. Can't wait to get it all straight and sorted.

Still no news about my car. Fingers crossed it won't be too expensive. I've had it for 3 years and it's been a really good car and have had no trouble with it at all - it's 5 years old.

Chicken salad for lunch and then cottage pie, cabbage and peas for tea. It's leftover day today (and probably tomorrow :rotfl:)

Right off to get the washing out of the washer.

Scott the gym seems ok. My DP is a big gym goer (it's where we met) but I prefer the classes, mainly spin and Zumba. I do warm up on the treadmill and sometimes me and my DP will do our own Hiit circuit. He trained as a PT 18 months ago but can't make a living out of it unfortunately. It's a shame as he's good at it!

Only been to the new gym twice and it seems ok. Not done a spin class yet though.

The big draw is the price and the closeness to home!
  • Yeah its hard for pt's so much competition and a lot of gyms take a cut quite substantially of what they earn. My mate is a pt he only does it part time though, he works pt in a call centre to survive.

Yes he worked for Pure which was good but it was a 20-40 minute drive away, he'd got some decent clients and was doing ok (although he hated teaching the classes as he's quite shy). He moved closer to home, still Pure and was there for 6 weeks and didn't get one client! So he gave up and went to work as a labourer for his landscape gardener friend!

7 NSD so far for August!

Car still not sorted. The garage drove it to another garage yesterday and of course by then the engine was was warm so it wasn't doing the cutting out. The mechanic is going to look at it first thing. Don't think it's electrical so why it's gone there I don't know.

Off out to meet my friend this morning for a walk and then lunch - looking forward to it especially as it's going to be a good day today.

Carpet being fitted Thursday and then need to sort Beds, furniture and bedding out as my 2 boys are swapping bedrooms.

Then I need to start thinking out our holiday as we're off to Cornwall (via Weston-super-Mare) next Thursday.
  • It's all go in the Louby household! Lot's of spinning plates but you seem to be managing ok and doing well with the NSD's. I feel a ratio of 1 NSD for every 2 days is good, although can defo improve on that.

Great walk and lunch. Met my friend at a local beauty spot and we walked round the lake, about 5 miles. We then went to the pub for lunch. Spent £10 on drinks and food. I've known this friend since we were 13 and have been through good and bad with her.

She's just split from her boyfriend so she was a bit low, we had a good natter and I've vowed on the way home to text her more - we get so caught up in our everyday lives that someww forget about our nearest and dearest.

Came home and painted a door (dull) then went around the garage to collect my car. He's done some sort of computer upgrade on it so I'm hoping it's fixed. He's told me to drive it for a couple of days and if it runs ok I owe him £60, otherwise he wants to have it back to investigate further.

Fingers crossed it runs ok in the morning! £60 will do me fine!

Just checked on One Poll and I have £25.95 on there - £40 gives a payout. I haven't been on there for ages and had forgotten there was so much. It's pretty slow and quite low payouts 10p, 15p but I shall keep at it. Might get there by Christmas.

I've also got about £3 on Opinnium which seems pretty consistent. I've got rid of Opnion Outpost- they just keep kicking me off so it's a waste of time.

I don't mind doing surveys but some of them just aren't worth it!
