Very quiet weekend here. Did an Aldi shop yesterday, put petrol in and did some school work in the afternoon. HM cottage pie for tea and a couple of Bacardis and Diet Coke (less calories than wine) I've lost 4lb this week so really pleased with that. I want to lose a stone so will keep watching what I'm eating.

Today is ironing, cleaning and maybe a walk around the block. We've got pork chops for lunch. I'm quite happy doing nothing it means less spends and today is NSD#4

    Enjoy your Sunday everyone!

Rang First Direct to set up a direct debit to pay off the credit card £150 a month. I'm stopping my £100 a month standing order to my Emergency Fund (that's currently at £500 & I have £210 saved in a fixed savings account which I can't withdraw until July that should be nearly £450 by then)

That should see my final credit card clear by July, along with my parents loan! Apart from my car loan and my mortgage I'll be debt free and in a position to really start saving!

Thanks Speky, I feel like it's all slotting into place now.

4th NSD of the month. Decent day at work apart from the rain and kids being stuck in.

Sausage and mash for tea and then have just had a row with OH about the Meryl Streep speech that she gave at the Golden Globes - I said how powerful it was and what an eloquent speaker she was, he disagreed and said she shouldn't be talking about politics at an awards ceremony. We've then had a really heated argument about it and now he's stormed off!

It's at times like this I remind myself never to marry the man!
