I've used TopCashback since 2006 and got nearly £1k back during that time. I don't buy anything online without going through TCB first!
  • Good evening Louby!

I just wanted to swing by in case I don't have the chance tomorrow to wish you a Merry Christmas. 2017 is going to be a cracker of a year for you and can't wait to see you smash that debt.

    Have a great day tomorrow.

Thanks Speky for your good wishes.

We had a great day yesterday! Lovely lunch (catered for 10) played some games and drank far too much.

Today is a calmer day, tidying up, eating left overs.....and a bit more drinking lol
  • Glad you enjoyed Christmas Day Louby, enjoy your boxing day xx

Thanks MTG, Ramble and DFOD for stopping by.

It's the second week of the school holidays and I'm feeling so relaxed I don't know how I'm going to motivate myself for work next Tuesday. We did go for an 11km walk yesterday that was lovely but I wore new boots (bought by DH) and ended up with blisters. But other than that I've been pretty lazy.

Today I have a mountain of washing to get through and some ironing too. Everywhere is pretty tidy as I'm keeping on top of it. This is why I love being off work, everything is so much more chilled and relaxed and no mad rushing about. :T

I've put quite a bit of weight on recently and could ideally do with losing a stone. So that's my aim for the new year. I go to the gym regularly so regular exercise and cutting down I should hopefully lose a stone by March. My jeans are really uncomfortable and I have no intention of buying a larger size.

Although I don't want to go back to work next week I am sort of looking forward to getting going with healthy eating, carrying on budgeting and slashing the debt!
  • Good luck with the weight loss!

Speky I might not be that motivated when the alarm goes off on Tuesday morning at 6.30am.

I didn't do any ironing yesterday so need to make a start on that today.

Last night the oven blew up and tripped the electric. My lovely OH was researching and youtubing all night and came to the conclusion it was the element. After a few phone calls I managed to find the correct one who had it in stock. We collected it after the gym £30 and DH has just fitted it. After a few tense moments it's finally working!

Phew! I reckon I've saved about £100 there!
