Well today I would like to play catch up - OH has gone away for the weekend and is due back sometime Sunday afternoon so I've promised DD a DVD/video fest all weekend as I've decided to tackle some of the niggling painting/DIY jobs as next weekend when they're both away I'm planning on going out on the town Only problem is I have a crackingly sore ankle - no idea what I've done to it but it's been bothering me on and off since Sunday This morning I'm hobbling almost so I think the kinky boot wearing last night was a bad idea no matter how much I feel like I need to practice and get back into wearing stuff like that

Right, best try to get DD sorted for school and I need to pick up some milk from the Co-op. I should really go to Asda, but since it's just me and DD I think I'll wait until Sunday and get OH to take me, maybe my ankle will be better then

Right I'm back : DD is in school, OH is at work finally and I need to have some breakfast (bacon butty is appealing ATM ) as it all went wrong this morning :rolleyes: Then I'm going to do an edited version of this weeks list.

Kitchen
Clean floors,
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
30 minutes ironing!!!
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week
Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Vacuum floors and sofas
Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter
Wipe light switches and banister
Clear any clutter from desk
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. [strike]wash any that need washing in preparation for cold weather![/strike]
[strike]Clear one hotspot, or just spend at least 5 minutes tackling it[/strike] Tackled the post pile this morning :rolleyes:
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Clean the fluff from the fire - Landlady has it serviced on yearly and I have the certificate for this year
[strike]Wash a pair of curtains, or some nets or a throw from a chair or bed[/strike] Washed cushioncovers from throw pillows at the weekend
Master Bedroom & Landing
[strike]Check fire alarms are working[/strike] Did last night in the middle of talking to OH, frightened him
Remove bed linen and replace with fresh linen - Did on Sunday, might do again later we'll see.
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs
[strike] Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen[/strike] Did at the weekend and I'm not doing it again until we get a new mattress It was disgusting!!!!
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
[strike]Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed [/strike] Put away the summer clothing earlier in the week as well
Defluff and demuck woodwork... skirtings, window frames, door frames dados, picture rails etc Me thinks its time to get the babywipes out :eek:

Clean the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner!!!! .. make sure they are completely dry before using it though.. I don’t want anyone electrocuted!!
Kids rooms and spare rooms
Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade!!
Strip beds and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!! - Bedding changed Wednesday, will do again on Sunday on bath night
Drag all that junk out from under the bed and deal with it as required e.g. bin, put away, wash etc
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors

• Fun one.. look in that medicine cupboard... is there anything you can fling? Is there anything you need to stock up on? It is soon to be snot and grot season so make sure you have all you will need.. nothing worse than wanting a lemsip right now and having none in!!!!
• Time for the Friday Flylady Fling, in the toy box!!!! aim for 27.. if no toy box you’ll have to choose another area!
• Clean 2 radiators or the skirting in any room of your choice!.. or if you have the bug today you could do both!
• Clean any one (or more) window that needs doing

Last lot this week.. 30 minutes of ironing for those in the challenge.. anything left today.. send to charity shop!! Lol I hope that it has made a difference! Who can now see the bottom inside the basket??

Apart from the dailies and night time routines that's the lot for the week, of course if you still want to join us over the weekend you are more than welcome

FRIDAY EXTRA - Don't forget your ME time this weekend, even if it's just a nice relaxing bath or catching up with an old friend, go on you deserve it

I have my new boiler in.. and my house is completely wrecked... there is dirt and rubble everywhere and I can barely walk my legs are crippling me.. usually it is just nie.. but today I have them both at it. I have loads to do decorating wise and I need to shift.. but can't..

On the plus side.. the boiler looks great and has made a huge difference to the floor space in DS1's room.. I am going to shift the chest of drawers I put his clothes in off the landing and into his room.. and hubby can sort a plasterer to get the landing done.

Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed

Good morning :hello:

Hope everyone is well Sorry flying is coming second again today, I'll strip the boys beds in a mo and get them in the wash but then must get some of my assignment done. Their room isn't too bad and could do with a dust and vacuum which I will hopefully do later. With all that has happened I've left the assignment, I thought was due in on 26th :eek: I was wrong it's due on the 19th and I have done NOTHING!! Panic time!!!! I have to pass this one or I fail the whole course don't want to waste the work I've put in since February.

Right time to strip the beds, dash out to get letter and prescription from DS1s doctor, drop prescription off, I need to sort insurance out today for the new car aswell so the garage can tax it, then if we have time go to estate agents, oh no I see another headless chicken day coming!

shirley sorry to hear about your rats.we have a graveyard as well for all smaller pets.the 2 cats that got run over are buried next to my mums old dog in her garden.
