Thanks pigpen for the washing machine filter thing - finally worked out how to do it - filthy full of grey sluge but I am 5p richer! I need to start doing this regularly - glad I kept the old toothbrushes to use when I changed them on Wednesday and they were very handy.

So that is Monday now finished so starting on Tuesday - living room (done hall) eek there are toys everywhere, may put the telly on for a bit of company as I could be in there a while.

Fogot hoover is in pieces after washing last night - never done that before either so I need to start by putting that back together with a new bag.

Afternoon folks! Just had a lovely cuppa and bowl of cereal while reading your posts.

nicki - love the boots - bargin!
Lil_me - hope things come together for you, I packed and moved at 6 weeks notice, it can be done!
Pigpen, hugs for your various aches and pains
Kaz - want a battle you are having, I don't stick to the lists and haven't for ages for various reasons but still come here for the lovely folks and motivation.
JILL - WWWWOOOOHHHHOOOOO!!!!! Congratulations, sending lots of love and blessings to you and your family.

Feeling much brighter today as felt really down this week. Have taken DS to swimming playgroup today and a good natter with the mums there which was nice. Also a neighbour stopped DH when he was walking the dogs inviting me and DS round to play with her kids so hopefully I'll start meeting people here. Took cousin to get a party outfit last night and brought loads of ROC facial products for 75p each for christmas presents from Boots so am chuffed with that. BIL's surpise 30th party tomorrow night so have been conned into making food all day tomorrow and out for lunch on Sunday so want to get house sorted before weekend.

Having to wait in this afternoon for man to replace ulility room light and for someone to collect the wrong light shade the builders have sent so am determined to fly. Going to keep a done list instead of to do so I'm motivated by what I've done rather than not. So....
    • SC on with a bologense
    • WM on
    • kitchen S&S
    • kitchen floor swept and wiped
    • Bin in and rubbish taken out
    • Ensuite S&S and loo cleaned
Right better go and make most of DS being in bed. Will update later xx

Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Clean the fluff from the fire
    Master Bedroom & Landing
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
Defluff and demuck woodwork... skirtings, window frames, door frames dados, picture rails etc Me thinks its time to get the babywipes out
    Clean windows in these rooms
    Clear any one hotspot
    Bathroom
    Clean floors in these rooms
Clean the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner!!!! .. make sure they are completely dry before using it though.. I don’t want anyone electrocuted!!

Drag all that junk out from under the bed and deal with it as required e.g. bin, put away, wash etc
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
    • Fun one.. look in that medicine cupboard... is there anything you can fling? Is there anything you need to stock up on? It is soon to be snot and grot season so make sure you have all you will need.. nothing worse than wanting a lemsip right now and having none in!!!!
    • Time for the Friday Flylady Fling, in the toy box!!!! aim for 27.. if no toy box you’ll have to choose another area!
    • Clean 2 radiators or the skirting in any room of your choice!.. or if you have the bug today you could do both! ;)
    • Clean any one (or more) window that needs doing
Apart from the dailies and night time routines that's the lot for the week, of course if you still want to join us over the weekend you are more than welcome

FRIDAY EXTRA - Don't forget your ME time this weekend, even if it's just a nice relaxing bath or catching up with an old friend, go on you deserve it

I've decided I'll do the ironing tomorrow while watching the Heroes catch up on BBC2 - I got interested in it halfway through the series  Plus OH is away this weekend so knowing me I'll have trouble sleeping :o

I've sat and "played" with debts in excel to see if there is a way we can reduce interest on them. Roll on January when I'll be able to go to the bank and say "loan please for £5k" again and get them paid off as our current loan will be finished with by then

One load of washing out on the line, another in the machine, 2 tops in soaking to try and remove stains, another 4 loads to do due to "wool wash cycle" required on some of my new tops  Some are light, some are dark so thats 2 loads  Plus a towel/cloth wash and a white wash which I will leave until DD gets in as I need to put her now black & pink socks in to soak so they can return white (bl**dy school shoes :mad: ).

Right, where's those babywipes? ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
