Well I've been right around the livingroom apart from the one wall where the computer and that is with about a packet of babywipes :rotfl: Skirting boards, picture rail, window sil, fireplace the whole lot is wiped down :D I have a bump on my head from where I got up quick and hit the mantelpiece (thank goodness it's only a shelf resting on it's brackets and not a fixed one - I might have ended up in hospital otherwise:eek: ) and a chunk missing out of the back of one of my thumbs - no idea how that one happened

I've been to Asda with DD in tow (simply lost track of time so had to go after school) and another wash load is in the machine now. I don't know whether to crack on with jobs tonight, or veg out infront of the computer/TV? I'll see how I feel once I've had some peace and quite - DD hates shopping and has done nothing but complain since she came home from school. She's gone to bed now in a sulk so I better text OH so he can ring her, then she can settle down with a CD on and go to sleep. Hopefully she'll be in a better mood tomorrow or I won't get the decorating jobs I want to do done

Well I've done nothing on pigpen's list today but I've been concentrating on my own list!

Go to Home Bargains to get extras for party bags
    Collect cheque from other school
Collect paperwork and bags from current school
Deliver party invite on way to Children's centre
    Collect paperwork from Children's Centre
    Make party bags
    Wrap pass the parcel

Of which I've just got the pass the parcel to do!

Pigpen I've not done any ironing this week so can we have the 30 min challenge on next week as well please?

I seem to have spent all week sorting out school stuff for DS and sorting out party stuff!

Hope everyone's okay - I have been keeping up to date I just haven't posted.

    Hi everyone :embarasse

Thank you so much for all your support and the cyber hugs, got them very quickly from borderlakland. Hope everyone else is ok and fingers double crossed for lil-me, I couldnt bear the thought of moving but then under the circumstance...

Feel more positive today, had a fairly lazy day and had time to print the whole list for this week and am going to go over it and cross of what I did do and nor worry about what I didnt. Anything crossed off is better than nothing. Also printed loads of price labels for Sunday if we do the yard sale and borrowed the box of billy blob glue dots so the kids can price up their stuff themselves. Guess what I'm doing tomorrow as well!

Tea tonight is fresh tuna and tomato stew - posted the recipe elsewhere on MSE and then thought I fancied it for tea. Its one that could be done in the slow cooker if you want (except the rice) and I love it.

Thanks again to you all - there goes my pinger FOOOOOD
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

  • Made bacon and lentil soup before I went out today so that DH could just heat and serve for his and DS's tea as wasn't sure when I'd be back from hospital.
DH loved it DS didn't so he had a couple of vegetarian hot dogs.

Dr thinks I've got endometriosis again. Had a blood test today and need to go for a scan next week and see what they throw up.

Need to make our bed as didn't get that done before going out.
Washing up needs doing and will put a wash in the WM to do tonight to go out on the line in the morning.
Going to do those jobs and then out my feet up for the evening.

    Enjoy your me time everyone.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

On the bomb shell of more ironing duties, I've popped in to say Pigpen will be looking after (or torturing with all that ironing) you all for a few weeks for me, if this house comes off I'm not going to have time to fart never mind anything else so thought best leave keeping you lot motivated to someone who can be here all the time. I also might be offline for a bit depending when we can get things hooked up (probably the scariest part!!!!)

Good news, our insurance might go down if we move, just ordered the insurance for both cars and paid deposits (all money isn't it!) but did a quote at the other house, it's a shame we need it next week as DPs was £80 cheaper and mine was £40 cheaper, just shows what a plop hole we live in now, so out of town but hikes insurance up because of crime rates.
One day I might be more organised...........

Out at work today but got home to chickpea and chicken with couscous and harissa that I made last night and DH had heated through and served for tea iwht frozen mixed veg then either pineapple or melon- yummy

Nothing done in house- will put school shirts on a moment
Ironing basket- still only one item which I will do tonight!

May try 1/2 hour on paperwork

Maralum - suspect there's nothing wrong with your DS- my DS2 was bad and my nephew worse(aged6!). have suggestions if your really wanting to tackle it!
