  • Evening everyone,

I've been far too busy to pop in, and not even having time to eat without doing several jobs at the same time. So i thought i'd pop in today, and have been here ages finding out if Jill had the baby yet, and couldn't leave till i had.

Way to go Jill - congrats to you and your family.

We've not done a lot in the house, and i have been having to work till about 10 every night just to cope with the next workday, but i admitted i was struggling a bit when i was in work today, and a couple of people helped me out a bit. Doesn't help the stress when i had an informal lesson observation today, and my HOD came in when i had my whappy y8s after i told him the other day to avoid that one, and so he deliberately chose it 'to make me feel supported.' Luckily they were good for me as they like me. Must be doing something wrong. :D

Anyway, i have managed by the skin of my teeth to be on top of everything at work, but aim to do a big house and work catch up this weekend so i can get more rest during the week.

Hugs to you all, and will see you soon.

    Michelle. x

    Evening all

    CONGRATS JILL!!! :j:j

Not much in the way of flying done here today, instead I've been out shopping for some new clothes (was feeling very down due to Aunt Flo  ) but I only hit sales & discount stores - I spent £80 BUT I got 8 new tops and a pair of Hush Puppy boots which should have been £75 but I got them for £39.99 :money::j:j What do you think?:

Did clean the bathroom for the first time this week, made the beds, washed a batch of dishes, made tea and had an hour long game of Disney Monopoly with DD and OH  Oh and two "cat walks" of my new tops and boots (one for DD and one for OH. DD said "now you just need to do some situps to get rid of your belly and you'll look really beautiful" :rotfl: ) - OH has banned me from wearing the boots around him as I can look him in the eye when I've got them on :rotfl::rotfl:

Right, off to cause trouble with my mates on another site which is like a virtual pub ... I will do cleaning & shopping tomorrow I promise :p Laters

Kaz if you go anywhere I'll personally hunt you down and drag you back. At the minute my house is a sh*t hole, hence the head in a spin, I know deep down things would be easier if it was tidy etc but I just can't even think about doing most of it at the moment. You're not letting anyone down, so stay. Hope things improve with your DD soon, wish I lived closer and could offer some more help.

:o corrected my earlier typing error, see my head just isn't with it
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Kaz, hugs for you this evening; sounds like you need an ally in the battle. Don't worry about not Flying just keep cheering from the sidelines though.
Nicki, good for you with the retail therapy, sometimes a girl's just gotta.. Nice boots btw!
Shazamaca, I wish you luck! Don't fly so hard you crash and burn though!

Bathroom is sparkly again and 2 washloads out on the line. The house feels tidy, even the spare room. Soooo ready for the weekend and hoping the energy levels rise again so I can tackle the kitchen wall papering..grumble grumble, wish I'd never started it..

Going for a soak in the bath to see if I can relax my brain muscles, too many dream filled sleeps is making me confuse reality and the other thing I've forgotten the word for. :rotfl:

Night all, have a good day fluttering, flapping and flitting tomorrow.

Crumpets with butter and jam and a bottle of grolsch for tea!

It's official, you are my long-lost twin and we must have been separated at birth - that's the sort of well-balanced thing I eat :p !

    Big congratulations to JillD :T :T :T :T

and little hopeful good vibes to Lil_me that it all works out ok with the house.

Rach - have a great holiday - hope the in-laws-to-be aren't too stressful.

And in case you're wondering why I haven't updated my list - it's because I've been given the night off and hubby is doing the bathrooms :D:D

    Have a good evening all,
