Despite having to keep popping in here to check on the baby news
and allowing for not having felt too well today
    I have still managed:

    WM x 3
    DW x 1

    Thursday Bathroom and Study/Pc Area

    Level One

[STRIKE]Clean floors in these rooms (even if it is around the clutter)
    [/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clean baths, toilets and sinks
    [/STRIKE]
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!! (baby wipes are fantastic for this!!)
Wipe keyboard and mouse (these usually have more germs on than your toilet so important).. And your house phone.. they must be just as vile..
    Level Three
    Clear clutter from floor
    [STRIKE]Wipe down tiles in bathroom
    [/STRIKE]
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Clean the brushes/dust box/filters on the vacuum cleaner!!!! .. make sure they are completely dry before using it though.. I don’t want anyone electrocuted!!
    Extra mission:
Pick whichever you want to attempt
    • Sort through those half empty bottles or ones with only a dribble left and decant into one bottle and recycle the rest!!
    • Wash your bathroom mats
    • Sort a wardrobe or part of, a drawer or set of drawers making sure it has what needs to be in it and any 'extras' are put where they should be
    • Spend 15 minutes shining mirrors and picture frames!
    • How is the ironing challenge going?? 30 minutes.. are we keeping up??
Not much, but still a big improvement thanks to the support on here:T :T
'We can get over being poor, but it takes longer to get over being ignorant'

    Hi guys.

Congratulations to Jill and good luck to lil-me. A warm welcome to all newbies and a welcome back to all returners, big hugs to everyone else.

Well its not exactly goin to plan at the moment. Real problems with DD's attitude at the moment, because I am the disciplinarian she hates me. I get 'daddy lets me' chucked at me so many times and 'I hate you' I feel like I cant cope. The battles are awful and she always ends up ringing her dad at work, then I get it in the neck for letting her but I physically cant stop her. She wants to do exactly what she wants, when she wants and throws a hissy fit if she cant. Have tried speaking to other half about what he lets her get away with and I think he is going to be a bit less lenient with her, but he finds it hard. He is an older dad and she's his only child and he doesnt want to spoil the time he has with her. Its especially difficult with his job as he takes people into hospital with strokes and heart attacks that are younger than he is, so I can understand where he's coming from.

Anyway thats why at the moment I dont feel I can keep up. I love this thread and what it has done for me over the summer. The motivation is fantastic. Now I feel I've let you all down because I dont feel like doing anything after a day at work and one of our battles. Well that and the stress of trying to stick to a bl**dy gluten free diet which I hate. House downstairs is just about remaining unembarrassing but only because I make the kids do some of the dailies for pocket money.

On a plus note, OH was a real sweetie today, cos even tho he was on nights last night and tonight, he took me to Addenbrookes on the bike for my bone scan so I didnt have to drive and go on my own. He had to sleep when we got back bless him.

Hopefully this weekend will declutter some stuff as I'm going to hijack a neighbours idea and poss have a yard sale. Theres a big car boot at the school across the road I was gonna do, but the neighbours decided to try and catch the trade from there without having to lug everything over so as everyone at home might give it a go.

Sorry for such a negative post when everyones so positive but I didnt just want to disappear.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

    Fingers crossed Lil_me, congratulations Jill!

Done little on the flying front apart from tidying up, two washes, a bit more tidying up, remembering to get the washing out of the dryer after ten minutes so that I didn't have to iron it! I'm getting obsessed. Also managed five hours of work.

Starting to worry about DS. He's developed a barking cough but is supposed to be having his anaestheic on the 25th. Will have to phone the hospital tomorrow and see how long he has to be clear of his cough before they'll do his op. It's all those bugs back at school.

    Hugs to all xx
