It seems to me that most EU immigration has already happened and the out campaigners seem to imply they can stay. Turkey joining the EU :rotfl:No chance, the others new applicants I agree are small beer.
what evidence would you quote to say the immigration is almost at an end?
is that the falling immigrant figures from the EU over the last few years?0 -
First the betting odds, then the polls, now the markets. £ now back to 1.29 and the FTSE up around 3%. It feels like a collective sigh of relief.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

No evidence just a feeling that when a country enters the EU most of the citizens that want to move to another EU country do it fairly soon.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. well, in my experience young (underage) people grow older each year and then reach the age when they can fly the nest and so can choose to come to the UK
next year, in the EU over 1 million people will become 18 years old
and about the same the year after and the year after.
youth unemployment continues to be disgracefully high in much of the EU.0 -

Informative video relating to sovereignty issues and practical workings of the internal market. One of the UK’s leading EU law experts criticizes the referendum debate’s “dishonesty on an industrial scale”, as he considers the claims and counter claims from each side.
Here, Professor Dougan analyses the substance of each viewpoint and delivers an informed assessment of the UK’s potential future position, both as a member of the EU and in the wake of a vote to leave.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. the good professor starts off objectively saying he is totally commited to 'remain' and that the 'brexit have lied on an industrial scale'.
After that it becomes pro-remain.
Rather removes any pretense of objectivity0 -

I would say that
'lying on an industrial scale'
has a different feel to
'not covering oneself in glory'
True but being a legal expert who actually knows the facts about how the EU operates, I guess that is what he believes?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is.
