Sounds like you've been busy Dinah and blimey Nora - is that how much a speeding fine is these days?!?

You're totally right on the limit to what you'll do for money - I recently had a Spanish evening class and it was well paid at £20 an hour and the adults I taught were LOVELY but I used to get so stressed planning it and it would take all day plus cost a fortune in printing, it just wasn't worth it for £40 a week.

Kavics I was trying to remember if you were Hungarian! We loved Budapest so much!!! Gorgeous city, loads to do, AMAZING FOOD (Gundel's Pancakes!!!), beautiful weather and an amazing thunderstorm. I'm recommending it to everyone!

Glad you loved it, most of my friends from the Uk want to get engaged there. I wouldn't mind it for myself either tbh :).

EEk about the costs last week. Never rains but it pours.

My hoover decided to pack in yesterday, ordered a new part for £15 in the hope it fixes it otherwise will be buying another.

Kavics - good luck with the dating. I don't seem to have the patience for it . I'm hoping i will bump into someone like in romantic films and that will be it :rotfl:.

Hope this week is a little easier on your bank account. The size of that speeding fine makes me feel a bit queasy. Rich thought he got caught (was a weird road that was altering 30/40 without much notice) and was counting down the 14 day window for them to send the ticket

Took Oscar to a trampoline park yesterday and ugh, summer holidays :o Was only £3.50 though so I can't complain and Oscar loved it! Might need to get more creative with days out ideas and save the popular places until September now.

New house is good, thanks! We've just moved Oscar to a floor mattress this morning now his room is all safe with a gate up, so fingers crossed for tonight. First mortgage payment goes out in a week, interested to see what the balance looks like afterwards!

Speeding fine was in Iceland from January - so in fairness it was very unexpected. He was doing 106km in a 102km zone.

Starting to panic I won't have the tax credits renewal in before we go. Been working on it for over a week now.

Ben's last day at nursery today. And if it wasn't I'd have pulled him out today. The owner of the nursery went into the room and yelled at a baby (I'd guess 10-12 months but maybe small and slightly older) to 'shut up'. Is it just me who thinks that's insanely wrong?!

Very stressed about getting this tax return done before I go away, to the point I'm struggling to sleep, when I do I'm having nightmares, waking feeling sick and so on.

That's beyond wrong. Can you report her?

Not sure what to say about the return other than I hope you get it done. What's making it so hard to finish? Distractions, missing info? I hated filing my return. I am glad to be a paid employee. I found it incredibly stressful.

I'm not sure who I would report her to. But I'm horrified she may have spoken to Ben like that, I would never ever tell someone to shut up.

Bit of both if I'm honest, I managed to store my box of receipts somewhere daft clearly as they've been badly damaged by heat and are near impossible to read, so I'm having to do a spot of forensic accounting as it were to trawl old bank accounts and work out the missing info.

One of my cover teachers has dropped out - ARGH!

Good news though is because tax credits haven't actually sent a pack they've extended the renewal date so I don't need to get that in before we go.

    Okay, priorities for tomorrow:
    Pack
    Do Invoices
Create fb advert to fill remaining places
    Advertise new workshops
    Nudge current students

Wonder if there is wifi on the boat?! I'll be sat looking green on the deck for a few hours, would love to put those lost hours to a vague bit of use.
