It's personal perception, 02.00 is unsociable, 11.30 to me is relatively unsociable.
I agre - also all relative to the person's working hours:
15 minutes after the person they are trying to contact was due to start work is reasonable, an hour an a half before they are due to start would be much less so.
Unless the person is suppsoed to be working a night shift I would say that anything after about 9 at night would be unreasonable from an employer, in most suituationsAll posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0 -
I'd have been tempted to tell them to **** off and not to call at that time again.
Your wife is employed by them, not you. You have no requirement to be sociable to them. All your base are belong to us.0 -

You wouldn't have been concerned as to the whereabouts of your (apparently disabled) wife?0 -
Posting on employers time again or are you having to take a day off for parental duties.
I seem to remember a previous thread.

OP, I honestly don't know why you bother. You know very well from past experience what sort of response your posts are going to get, especially from this so called "wolf pack".
FWIW, no I don't think the phone call was unreasonable and would put the rudeness down to the fact the manager was probably already annoyed at apparently being let down and then embarrassed by the !!!!-up.0 -
