So if they'd call because she hadn't arrived at work and it turned out she was lying dying in a ditch and by their action, you could have got to her and take her in hospital on time, would you be here posting your misery?

Yes, they could have been more polite about disturbing you, especially if they got their wires mixed up about where she was supposed to be, but better safe than sorry isn't it?

I don't think 7.15am is an unreasonable hour.

No, I mean my international haulage company that celebrated its 25th birthday earlier this year. I've regularly given advice to people who want to be drivers, commentary on the Calais situation and general advice on this board to those with genuine queries or problems.

I think you post deliberately silly 'dilemmas' because you know you will get negative responses and enjoy , perversely, the reaction, otherwise, why would you persist with the silliness.

.......Every single post in your posting history contains nastiness or unpleasantness of some sort or other it seems. You'll be breaking a record soon - maybe 200 posts of complete bitterness and bile.

;70830058]The problem with this forum is that people want to rake over the coals of old posts in an attempt to pick up anything they can criticise. I have no problem with people disagreeing with me........

Is it a poll? I vote for 3.

7.15 is not at all unsociable. If Mrs F whinges on as much as you do on here, then maybe he was not looking forward to talking to her/you.

I got woken up at 11.30 at night a few weeks back, which is not unsociable itself though week nights I'm in bed for 9.30 ( rock n roll, eh? ). Phone call finished at 02.30, out of bed usual time of 5.15.

I think that was relatively unsociable.....

Of course getting an unannounced phone call at 11.30pm is an unsociable time.
Why would you think it isn;t?

We are all Tyred of these threads.

Yet. Why. Respond? You wouldn't be tired then.

That was my immediate thought. Apologies in advance to O/P

Why does this board exist? for selective posting? people aren't generally going to praise who make a thread, but they do feel the need to post their dilemma and drama's in letting of steam if nothing else, it's clearly unfortunate they are out of the circle of acceptable only posters, of course.

Run along and attend to newbie posts who you do appreciate and who can also be anyone feeding you any old tripe or double post the same question, time after time.

I think that I've figured out what the OP was after when he started this thread, so here goes.......

Quite right. How disgraceful for your wife's employer to wake you up in the middle of the night. I'd recommend a good compo lawyer.

Now that the OP has heard what he wants, hopefully there is no need to prolong this thread with all of those clearly idiotic posters telling him that he needs to grow up.

How's the job going? Did you manage to find a suitable water bottle or did you quit?
