;70829656]Do I care about the opinions on the people on this forum who want to have a dig? Let me think about that......

Nope I've decided I dont give a rats !!!!. Now run along, surely you've got homework to do tonight.
For others who have sensible comments, please feel free.
I do have to run along, I've got to keep my international business ticking over.
I have had the situation when a member of staff had a stroke on getting ready for work - if not for managers trying to contact them and be worried when they couldn't reach them, and then alerting someone to go check on them in all likelihood would have not survived. Now that is an extreme case but you never know.
We had similar a few years back, driver on the way into work had a heart attack on the M61. Only a few months off his planned retirement - lovely chap. He was one of those that was always early, didn't turn up at the allocated time of7.30, we left it a bit, listened to the traffic and then got concerned and rang his home tentatively, didn't want to unnecessarily worry his wife. Not long after she was rining us with the bad news.:(0 -
I do like a good perusal of the forum.
Now have you given any thought to my feedback, where does the problem really lie here - is everybody else in the wrong, or is the problem perhaps closer to home?
I'd hardly call the WolfPack on this forum a relevant cross-section of considered opinion though. So "everybody else" is stretching it a little.
If people posted on here with good intentions then I might take notice. Some do. But a LOT post on these forums purely to start an argument/have a dig at someone/show off/tell everyone how important they are. I don't get it but its obviously something that a lot of people find to be fun.0 -
My life's good - I work hard and where I disagree with my employer I generally discuss with them though I have asked sensible questions on here for specific advice. I may even have asked a question about my wifes employer on a specific legal issue rather than your incessant rants.
Does Mrs F actually know you post on here on her behalf and understand that you get stupid responses because you ask stupid questions
I'll give you a round of applause then....0 -

You have started thread after thread about you wife's work "problems" (as you see them). As far as I remember you have not liked the majority of the responses you have received in any of them.
Has it never occurred to you that perhaps you are the one that is out of step with the vast majority?
To answer your question, no I do not consider your wife's employer to have acted unreasonably here.
That won't be what you want to hear but that doesn't make my opinion wrong.
The problem with this forum is that people want to rake over the coals of old posts in an attempt to pick up anything they can criticise. I have no problem with people disagreeing with me.
What I do have a problem with is people:-
1) Posting something just to start an argument.
2) Commenting on things that were not asked in the first place and none of their business.
3) Generally acting like they know it all.0 -
To be honest Paul, if I had received the call I would have just forgotten the whole incident as soon as I put the receiver down
;70829660] If you have no sensible comments to make . . . .
lol. That'd require a sensible thread though
Edit: A sensible comment, such as this?
;70830065]You mean you bought some fags in France and sold to someone down the pub? ;-)
It just gets better . . .0 -
I think it is time to Nail down what is the real problem.
We are all Tyred of these threads.
I like to keep a GoldenEye on these posts as they are quite amusing, but I feel that they only show a standard room window (or no window) into the life of the OP.0 -
Your wife failed to turn up where she was expected.
Your wife needs to sort out where she needs to be and get there on time.
if she is causing you so much grief you need to have a word with her to get her work life sorted.
Next time someone phones "she left for work I have no idea where she is".0
