I find it more than likely that the reason your parents would find it bizarre if you sent a card, is because you never send them one. It's probably not because they don't want one.

I don't see why would anyone think it bizarre, if their adult daughter sent them an anniversary card.

I have sent them in the past to her and she mentioned it in passing that she too finds it weird, as she received some from other people too. Of course she was very appreciative and grateful for the gesture but I decided not to continue sending them if they make her feel uncomfortable. I think it's because I was at their wedding, I was 16 when she married my stepdad.

I don't know, just find it odd.

I would never send my brother and his wife a wedding anniversary card lol, that seems kind of odd to me, its THEIR marriage. I congratulated them when they got married but I don't think they'd expect me to send them a card every year.

It's my wedding anniversary tomorrow and my birthday on Saturday, my husband sent me a combined card, gotta love his ingenuity lol! We got cards off our parents for our anniversary, but I won't be buying him one. He got a gift and was pleased with that.

I am good at remembering birthdays but terrible at anniversaries. As far as I know, people don't mind that I don't send a card!
