I've still not done anything really productive. I've been caught up in referendum debates, and being the kind of person I am I've been checking facts from multiple sources before I reply
I've done the little bit of pre-shower washing that was needed so I now have clean/dry towels and I've put the SC on for tea. Off to have a shower, change my bed (again), and get sorted. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

In desperation, Mr N and I are doing a short free course run by Futurelearn (I've done courses by them before) - it only started on Monday so you could still enrol. Lots of interesting discussion. Or maybe that's where you are discussing.........
Just put WM on as the sun is still out. What's the betting the rain will come when it is time to hang out.
Did a bit of mild bedroom tidying.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Ye gods we almost got washed away on the way home from school! Flash flood hit, playground and roads were like torrents! Poor DD cried all the way home. DS thought it was hilarious! (Not her crying, just the puddles in his shoes!). I wouldn't mind, it was dry when I set off!
Just had to mop up puddles from the hallway. WM on with uniform plus my clothes. Coats and shoes are in the airing cupboard - hopefully will dry by tomorrowanoraks are all well and good but our legs were soaked through. Ah well. Home now. Was quite spectacular really!
Plumber is coming later so will see what he has to say. I'm going to sort some food as these kiddies will need a warm bath tonight. It's very dark!!!Bossymoo
