I know you would all be here in a flash to help .. this is why I offload on you lot.. you know how it is and what it feels like to be here. Noone else seems to understand, though why my mother doesn't and isn't here helping is beyond me.. if my daughter was dealing with this I'd be there doing the necessary stuff like folding washing and hanging it out.. I'm not impressed with being lower down the list than an afterthought.

CY.. if I could get off the sofa I'd do it myself lol.. but I appreciate the offer.. Kaz too.. <3

!!!!!!... Pixie has just 'cleaned' her bottom.. with her finger.. OH has just goe for Squeak.. she just got the headteachers award for her splendid work in maths and RE.

Ooh.. feeding time for the small.. best go to loo quick, I'm usually sat here a while!

Well that's about all I can do. Didn't mop the kitchen floor as it was ok; just wiped a couple of spots. Got rid of huge pile of 'dumped in kitchen' paperwork, cleaned surfaces and put granite spray on them. Wiped down any appliances needing it.
Swept conservatory yikes just remembered a couple of books etc in there could do with putting away.
Chilli decanted into 'posh' serving bowl which can be heated through in aga. Rice washed and soaking in water with star anise.
All other rooms, well tbh except my study and our bedroom, are tidy and shining.
Managed to get washing in just before downpour. Shirt I wanted to wear had quick tumble (naughty environment-wasting person - though I only use it about twice a year) and is now hanging in the hope it won't need to be ironed.
    Done physio exercises.
Registered new debit card on phone web site. Topped up phone.

Will make some minor additions to a report now for a mum.
Have shower when Mr N gets home. It is the last Friday he will ever work today!!

    Fruit salad needs assembling.
Salad to go with chilli ditto.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Kiddies beds done and generally tidied. Amazing how just making beds helps the room look tidier.

Car insurance renewal arrived - it's a bit  so will shop around next week.

Kiddies collected, no mentions of yesterday's events in the newsletter. It's like they've just blanked it  how insensitive.

DD has asked to bake so we have lemon sponge in the oven - only a small amount sparingly split between two tins - hopefully will sandwich together ok. Have left butter out of fridge to make filling later.

Will go check oven and faff with stuff for tea. Everyone wants something different, sigh. Ah well. Could be worse!

  • Hi all,

Daily stuff done, paid stuff done, DDs both have friends round after school, I have fed them all and me, house now quite trashed so I've ordered them to watch a film so I can sort it.

Second third of lawn mowed before it started heaving it down. At this rate the first third (which I did on Tuesday) will need mowing again by the time I've done the last third.

    Mini milk eaten.

Hugs to all, yay its Friday x

Most of the laundry is now folded.. and even put away.. I have a pile on the table to do and a laundry basket full.. DD2 has hers thrown in her wash basket to fold herself..

DS3 brought his washing down just as the last load finished... I wanted to slap him! lol

Updated the gas meter reading the estimate was about £70 more than it should have been.. I cant afford to pay it as it is I don't need to owe any more!

*whispers* ... I am leaving the house tomorrow.. IF!!!! .. I can get in the car..

    Evening all.

I've had an admin day. Most of the day has been spent working my way through a pile of papers, updating stuff on the computer etc. So apart from the dog related laundry I've done, it looks like I've done nothing and it looks just as bad on the list! :(

    Personal:
Write & address all the cards we bought the other day
Wrap gifts from DD for her dad & friend.
    Pay CT, MC, HX, Arg

    Evening all

Finally sitting down attempting to relax. It's been such an odd day here.

I have however managed to do 4 WM loads, vac upstairs, do three hours paid stuff and keep the place tidy. Got an online shop coming between 9-10 (cheapest slot), and as soon as that's put away I'm off to bed.

I'll be back to my cheery self soon, I promise.

    Night all, ATB x

Well I've had DS1 here most upset over the death of the MP.. He had met her a few times at conferences and local Labour Party events and held her in high regard.. Apparently she reminded him of me so he liked her.. see, I am nice really!

    I need my bed.. *yawn*
