I am in the same situation. My transfer date was yesterday and I am in credit with Iresa. I haven't been informed by Iresa or my new supplier that the transfer has been blocked so I assume it has gone ahead. Got the email today saying Iresa will be taking a direct debit this month. I will try and raise a support ticket with Iresa and ask them not to take the direct debit. I am worried that if I cancel the direct debit they will use that as an excuse not to pay my credit balance back once they have produced the final bill.0 -
Daughter's bill on line now. Noticed some new wording in the box below account balance -2. If in DEBIT a ONE-OFF payment will be requested on the last day of the month to SETTLE the bill0

Its ridiculous how much time is being wasted by customers dealing with this company.0 -
AAAAARRRRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHH :mad::mad::mad:
Sorry, just needed to get that out.
I tried to ring them....... 56 mins of my life gone. I managed a whole loop of their hold music! Started at caller number 59, reached caller number 15 when my OH pointed out that I'd get charged if my call went over 60 mins :eek:
I just know that Iresa are going to wait the full 28 days before acting on anything the Ombudsman has recommended.0 -

Based solely on my Iresa experience, they will play out the full 28 days. On Day 29, they get hit with another EO charge.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

My Iresa Flex4 12 month fixed Dual Fuel is due to end on 14th March. I am looking to move, more than likely to Octopus Energy. When should I start the process to get the billing correct for the best deal?
I am in credit on both, £135 on Elec and £31 on Gas.0 -

For info there is a freephone number, exactly the same line as the standard number for Iresa. Call 0800 4337812 instead
Always check on the website saynoto0870.com when making calls to cust. service!!0 -
Have just looked on Octopus and its quoting me as £115.65 per month, thats £1387.80 a year. Outfoxthemarket quoting as £1292 on an 18 month fixed!!
Is octopus really cheaper for high users out there????0
