Another thought - has anyone actually had a meter reader visit from Iresa? I have been with them a year and never had a meter reader call. I thought they had to visit at least once a year from a safety point of view.0

I assume that the "fully automated" part of NEXUS means that some software engineering was required to be done by Iresa. Either they haven't done it, or more likely (perhaps), they've cocked it up.
I had this problem on my account. Fed up with waiting over an hour to speak to someone on the phone so I took to Iresa Facebook page. Stated how fed up I was with the service given and that my account was not up to date despite me providing regular readings. 3 days later my readings appeared and they reduced my credit balance by showing the workings out for the periods of my reads. No new bills raised but the transactions are showing.3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
These clowns really are the worst energy company (if not company per se) I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. it would take too long to list the numerous examples of their total incompetency and lack of customer service here, suffice to say DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Even if they may be a few pounds cheaper, it's really not worth all the pain you go through with them0

Just emailed them on their suggested email address and stated I was switching and needed an up to date gas meter reading which I had provided entering in to their system as my fix finishes in March, lets see if I get a reply.0

Seems that phoning is also a waste of time and money. Perhaps cancelling my direct debit is the way to go ?0 -
Hi,
I was asked as usual to submit meter readings to Iresa on the 24th as usual.
I read the meters and submitted then that day. They appeared very quickly on my account.
Now today I see they haved added their own estimated readings up till the 31st.
Their estimated readings for 7 days is double our total montly usage.
This means of course they will be billing us way over incorrectly for gas and electric we have not used.0 -
