Santander - online banking absolutely abysmal.

I'd used the site for years without an issue, but over the last couple of days it doesn't move past the first login page (where your customer number is entered) on my main desktop, but my laptop is fine.
I'm getting round it by opening an "incognito" window (in Chrome). If it hasn't been resolved within a few more days I'll dig deeper to find the issue - which is undoubtedly a cookie or plugin etc on my desktop which is not compatible with a recent update to the site. Certainly no cause for hyperbolic ejection of my toys out of the pram.0 -
I have no problems either using Santander with G00gle Chr0me.

I had trouble login in to santander yesterday, I tried several times keep saying wrong password or wrong number but I know I had put the right one in, it said to ring costumer service I did and they said I will have to wait 4 to 6 days for a letter with a new register password and new details, I am not able to check my account for 6 days.0

I was able to log in to Lloyds the other week but it rejected my password (the same one use to log in) whenever I tried to make a payment. So it's not just Santander.
At least Lloyds did allow resetting of passwords online, following which it worked OK.0 -
I can't remember the last time I had an issue with Santander online banking - maybe never? There are an annoying couple of pop-ups in the login sequence, so maybe check ad-blockers and popup-blockers.
I find my ad blocker removes all the links from the new account area of the Santander website - I should probably add it to the white list.
I use several banks' websites and I think Santander's is probably the best. Nationwide is okay, if a little clunky with things like making payments. I like the way that the OTP works with Santander - that additional security is required but only for sensitive transactions.0 -
I find santander online banking very good, I'd prefer the login security was better, but far from abysmal.
However over the last week or so I've noticed sometime on the password screen are entering passwords it seem to hang indefinitely. However I found that if you hit the stop button and press the login button again it logs you in and it works fine.0 -
Never had a problem with Santander.
Just logged in now - took less than 10 seconds.
