Santander - online banking absolutely abysmal.

Santander login is fine for me - I closed my account at Clydesdale mainly because of its awful login system. I have accounts with other banks and all are OK too. Just logged onto Santander to check - no problems!0

No probs with Santander online banking here. Or with online banking of any other UK bank.0

Anyone else have trouble with Santander online banking. I simply can't log in half the time. It refuses my login - I know it's definitely 100% correct, but it simply won't accept my details. Works some days and not others. I opened this account to take advantage of the 3% interest, but there's no way I'm trusting them with my money with such a poor online banking system.
What OS and which browser?
Are they up to Date?
Do you use any AV software?

I don't like the appearance of Santander online banking, but I've never has a problem with it, or with the app.0

I log in via FD Internet Banking. I have noticed that sometimes the log in sequence hangs for a while on the first screen, then suddenly wakes up and progresses rapidly through to the home page.
There is obviously a gremlin that doesn't like some folk, judging from the above.

OP, it might be that your old mouse has become corrupted, might be time to swap it out for a new one.0 -
I've never had a problem with Santander online banking.
Sometimes it thinks I'm using a different computer and I need to answer an additional security question - but that's probably related to my browser loosing a cookie I suspect.

I have had very few problems, though I did recently encounter the same issue where it was insistent I was putting in the wrong details, even though I was certain they were right.
On calling the helpline, they asked if I was reaching the page via a bookmark, which I was. After approaching the site via google instead it worked fine - it seems they sometimes make changes that can mean the cached page doesn't work so its better to not use a bookmark.0
