    Ouch! Hoping it was very successful and she's well enough to be coming home xx

    Don't know where this morning has gone! Washing is out, sunny again here but a bit fresher so very nice outside. Bike store has arrived, will fit that together this afternoon. Done some admin, checked meters, cuppa with mum and I think that's about it. Oh, cleaned downstairs loo.

    Need to empty DW after lunch and crack on with building, then I can get those bikes out of my office!!!

    Hi bobarella i use astonish mould and mildew spray. Leave on a while then rinse. Works a treat.

    Early bath for kiddies and they are clean, in pjs and now watching "stick man" eating jam n scones. I cleaned up after them painting earlier so they can bloomin well put their toys away in conservatory after.

    Managed to build my bike store and put bikes in. I don't have the right size padlock so it's open / unlocked but I've used the bike chain to fasten all 3 bikes together. I did laugh, it says it takes two men two hours to assemble. But apparently a lady can do it alone in just over an hour :rotfl:

    Kitchen sorted after dinner except for a few paintings drying. Everything put away outside in case of rain. So I'm getting sorted - feels like I've achieved a lot this week. I've even chosen a radiator (still need a plumber) and decided on my splashback colour (original choice of green). And sorted my life policy.

    And there was me thinking I'd have no motivation when I finished work!

    Met a friend for a catch up. Popped in ik ea for a large tub to store some of ds1's stuff for the summer when I have collected him.

    Meeting another friend tomorrow to see if she can come up north with me as other friend has just found out her daughter breaks up in 2 weeks and is away next week so it doesn't seem fair to take a day from her.

    Ground floor vacuumed and 2 Wm dried outside. Garden watered.

    it is dead skin and soapy residue... a good scrub with a green scrubby sponge will shift it.. I use elbow grease spray too which is fab.. easily good enough for this.

    Chinese for dinner tonight OH has been worked to the ground so I'm not making him cook for me.

    He has busied since 7 this morning and even minced the very rude grass that keeps on growing!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::T:T:T

    My energy levels dropped soon after I posted mid-morning, so I had an early lunch, printed out some of the course whilst drinking a :coffee: and then slept for 2 hours. After that, it looked as if theclouds were gathering again, so I went outside and did about 3 hours' work in the garden - and achieved far more than I had planned, though I am now absolutely k*a*k*r*d. I swept the paved area that we grandly refer to as the "back yard", where all the leaves collect, emptied and washed the bulb bowls, put the bulbs in empty pots ready for planting out in the borders in September, and planted all the veg and flowers that I bought last week into big tubs (we don't have room for a veg plot). I have also watered everything thoroughly and washed my trowel before putting it away properly - but I've mislaid my secateurs :(

    So tomorrow I shall have no excuse not to do the course work!
