Lost a friend from college earlier today. It is strange that though we weren't close it has made me cry and feel shocked.

Minimal flying done. 2xwm dried in sunshine. Hair dressers visited

    Sorry to hear that.

    Good Morning all,

A much better night had all round here, DS was up early again but at least he slept through. I read the thread quickly last night so hugs to all where needed esp dancemum xx

Have a short personal to do list to crack on with this morning then we will crack through the list. We go away at noon tomorrow (booked before the slave camp that was our last holiday) for six days so I need to be on top of things.

Piggers I hope you are ok xx
YL - I hope you found some me time in your day yesterday. I spent 20 mins finishing my book whilst DH bathed the kids and felt so much better in myself for it. xx

    Have lovely days all xx

Morning all. Light cloud here atm, and cooler after last night's downpour, but the forecast says it will brighten up and be warm again today.

DH is off to play trains all day :)

I am having a stay-at-home day, with general plans to
    - water house plants
    - sort out the cut roses which were a present from DH  when I got home last week: throw away all the dead pink and red ones and put all the longer-lasting white ones together in one vase
    - S&S kitchen
    - S&S bathroom
    - put new batteries in two clocks that are showing silly times!
    - clear the study floor and sort/action/file all the loose paperwork as appropriate
    - do as much work as possible on the still unfinished course that I'm working on with my colleague (I'm seeing her on Saturday at a training day for something else that we're both involved in, and we have a meeting about our courses on Monday). It's mostly crafty bits that need to be designed and made from scratch, but first I shall have to read through all the notes that we've written and get my brain back in gear - I haven't done any work on this course for weeks :o
    - get out in the garden at some point to do the planting

I also still have a report to write on the week in Germany, as it was an official visit, but that will probably have to wait until the beginning of next week.

Must throw a fluffy mule at DH to get him moving :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good day x

(((Hugs))) to Dancemum on your loss.
At home this morning. Third load in now (another of DS's pillows) on a quicker wash
I've also run the DW and am hoping for a steady morning. Need to clear some ironing as I might be off to my sisters again, depends if she comes out. They initially suggested she would be out yesterday but now they're talking about Friday so not sure why the change.
Mum and our other sister went to visit.

    Morning all.

Dancemum - Sorry to hear of your friend passing. ((Hugs))

I did no flying yesterday at all :p After posting on here that I was going to do my accounts I decided to take Zack for a walk. By the time I'd done my dailies, got stuff ready, smothered myself in suncream it was gone 11am when we left. We got back about 1pm and I spent an hour trying to get him to cool down since he was refusing to drink. Went to Mr A, & Mr Al. Struggled to stay awake, popped out to make a delivery, came home had a bath and was in bed by 10pm! I've had over 8 hours sleep yet I'm still tired. :( Actually I've just thought on, I took a hayfever tablet yesterday as I was going to a botanical gardens for part of the walk, and I took another this morning with being out a lot today. Think I need to pick up some different ones for me.

Paid stuff today. I'm out collecting books first thing, then again just before lunch, then again tonight. DD is at philosophy after school so I need to be on the ball with tea as she probably won't be home until 5.30 and we go out at 6pm to work.

I've already washed up. I'm going to do dailies, paid stuff, wash load on (I don't like leaving the machine running while I'm not home), then do some flying, then back out to paid stuff, home to more flying and sort something for tea.
