    A bit more done:

    [STRIKE]- prepare for tonight's course
    - order birthday gifts for DGS1 and DSiL[/STRIKE]
    - order plant supports for tomatoes - after further consideration :money: I have decided to buy enough cheap, sustainable, thick bamboo canes to make a tripod for each pot, rather than expensive galvanised spiral rods which may fall over in the soft compost and will eventually rust anyway
[STRIKE]- reduce paperwork pile a bit more[/STRIKE] - an invoice paid, book ordered, phonecall made, paperwork filed
    - plant out veg in tubs, having bought new poles for the runner beans yesterday (and an aubergine and a pepper for the mini-greenhouse)
    - phone my friend
    - go to my course this evening

Off into the garden for an hour :)

Lost a friend from college earlier today. It is strange that though we weren't close it has made me cry and feel shocked.

Minimal flying done. 2xwm dried in sunshine. Hair dressers visited

Dancemum so sorry to read about your friend passing. Hugs.

Just in from work, been lovely today but a bit too muggy in the classroom.

Going to see what salad is left and then I'll do a bit of flying.

Dance mum- sorry to hear about your friend. It's good to have a little cry.

Today little miss has had injections, been swimming with ds2, went for a cuppa at a friends house and took ds1 for wigs swim lesson. Kids are both driving me up the wall for very different reasons. Ds1 is being very argumentative and rude. Ds2 is ignoring me and not doing anything I ask him! Both have been sent to the playroom to give me a break!!! OH home so will update list in a bit

Thanks Jazee, much cheaper than the spirals!

As I went out into the garden and started to bring in the dry washing, the grey clouds that had been gathering over the far side of our valley suddenly darkened, there was a loud rumble of thunder, and I only just got the washing in before it started to rain heavily  so I've been chilling with a cuppa instead :D

(((Hugs))) dancemum. We all feel more vulnerable when the person concerned is one of our contemporaries, however well or little we knew them.

Time for phonecall, tea and evening course...

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Hi All

Really enjoying all the cleaning! I am putting in at least an hour a day of actual cleaning rather than daillies and the house is really showing it. Today I cleaned a cupboard in the kitchen and threw away a few out of date bits. Also gave my sons room a really good going over. Cleaned windows, skirting boards, dusted throughout and hoovered and mopped.
Jobs still to do in that room
    - Reorganise linen cupboard
    - Take all the too young for him books out of his cupboard, & put them in a box for the loft as DD wont need them for a while yet.
    - Take down all his Year 1 art work that he has on his cupboard doors ready for his Year 2 work to come home at the end of term.

OH hoovered our room whilst I bathed DD so thats the whole upstairs done now this week. I cant believe I used to hardly ever hoover (cringe )

Right well DW loaded. Washing hung out. Bed calls.

    Night

    Bob
