Good Morning All,
Hope you feel a little better this morning CY x
Big hugs Valli xx
I slept like a log last night, hardly surprising. Got up at 6am with DS and so far I have WUDUPA, emptied DW, WM has just finished its first load and made DH lunchbox up. He was in a grump this morning when he left for work, goodness knows why. Literally all he has to do is throw on his work gear, make his flask and go - I am typically up an hour before him to make his lunch etc so he can just head out the door. This has always been our routine and I like it that way but I don't like grumpy words before work when I won't see or speak to him for another 12 hours, it's not a nice way to start the day especially when I've not done anything wrong! Anyway, rant over. It's a rarity so I won't dwell on it.
Have some really boring jobs to do this morning that involve picking things up and dropping them off other places, then we have the health visitor coming at noon followed by a friend with her kiddies for lunch. I suspect the house may look like a toy shop before long!
Have lovely days all xMFW

I didn't achieve much yesterday, it was just too hot. However I'm hoping that since today is supposed to be cooler I'll be a lot more productive. First job, after hanging out the washing from last night, is to get to the shops as soon as possible, they open at 8.30 so hopefully I can be done and home by 10am. Then I'm going to get on with some jobs from my list, I want to get at least 10 things crossed off before DD comes home from school (no club tonight).

Morning lovelies
Still very warm here but as I was such a busy bee yesterday, my personal list is short today! Yippee :j Asda delivery this morning, so can't go out until that arrives, but then pretty much my time is mine to use wisely.
Hugs to all in need - hope today is good for everyone x0 -
Great fundraising ionafan and yikes valli I hope it all runs like clockwork.
Reporting for duty, although I've got the kiddies off to school, shuffled gibble, hung out my bedding to dry and generally tidied already. Also had carpet sweeper out after cleaning LR yesterday the rug was already quite bitty. It's dark and shows up everything. It will be relegated to the other room this summer...
Windows are all open and cuppa ready
Glorious sun but apparently we are due a storm later - so I'm going to make sure garden furniture is away this afternoon. The garden could do with a drenching! I'll need to water the baskets on the front of the house as the rain always misses them.
I'm going to dust and vac the conservatory before doing kitchen (lite, since it's getting ripped out in 3 weeks) as the floor is grotty in there!
Also going to have an hour or two studying this afternoon. I better crack on!Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -

Ooo bin day tomorrow, have some broken garden toys to stash in neighbour-but-one bin...Bossymoo

Shopping done, came home and had to get completely changed so I've stuck a wash load on and thats now pegged out. Picked up a descaler for the kettle from homeB, going to make a coffee in a bit then do that. Last time I tried doing it with vinegar it didn't make much difference so I'm hoping this works better. I also picked up other cleaning stuff but swerved the groceries section for a change. My house should smell a lot sweeter by the weekend hopefully
I have a home delivery from 1celand coming soon as I've just signed up for the bonus cardBeen shopping there years but don't tend to buy much, however some of their things work out better value than Mr A and they're finally doing home deliveries to my address again.
Next job, things relating to the computer/desk area. Its muggy so I want to keep movement to a minimum for the time being :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
So far today, I have done the ironing, wiped woodwork in kitchen, dewebbed downstairs, S&S'd downstairs loo, some gardening.
About to collect OldDogs meds and pop to H0mebarg@ains while I have the car.
Catch you all later.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Playing catchup as ever. All a bit random and unstructured.
- took nearly all day at techie friend's yesterday, helped by another techie friend (who I'm sure wish he hadn't dropped round unplanned for a coffee) upgrading/sorting out my computer. Lots of apps/features which seem to have gradually 'dropped off' are now reinstated. Of course that means I have a lot of customising to do, to get all my autotext, references not to mention email set up again, but hey ho.
- one load of washing done
-DW done and emptied
- went to Mr T and got some bargains, filled up car with diesel.
- got a new piece of decking to repair broken piece.
- lounge pretty clean and tidy, ditto hall
-bird feeders filled
- greenhouse checked/watered
I was to receive a visit from my brother this afternoon as he is passing through on some work, but just rang to say traffic bad so he may not stop. Cue lunch stop now and return to reports after.
Flower club this eve.
CY hope all back in place
Valli commiserations for inspectionRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0
