Been flying at full speed before the sun hits overhead and I melt away.
Three loads of washing done and on drier in the sunshine. Ironing sorted and waiting for the cooler evening before it gets tackled.
I've provisionally accepted an offer on my contents claim, cleaned caravan kitchenette and dining area. Polished mirror, emailed BiL, texted several people with questions and answers, enquired about bare root hedgerow trees for late autumn planting. Played bubbles (again) with Tiny, paid some bills. Swapped fish tank pump over, so now have bubbles!
Need to complete Asda food delivery shop, research garage and stable doors, investigate house insurance (not sure we will be insurable now), look at children's bedroom furniture online, juggle finances and complete a child tax credit form.
Cuppa first...0 -
Washing out, bits bought from @ldi and living room mirror, pics and Windows washed
Just having a cuppa in the conservatory then I will dust and sweep. Don't really have any stuff to move out of the living room really, so shouldn't take long!Bossymoo

Wow we are all going at it great guns today!
So far today I have dropped a load of camping gear off at my friends, been to Aldi, been to the Post Office, potted up a load of geraniums, done three loads of washing, vacc'd through downstairs, supervised water play with the small people, done a load of weeding (then texted the gardener to see if he can do the rest of it, it's on the border that runs along the main road and I can't do it safely with the children "helping"), cut up and paid off a credit card and ordered DD a swimming costume from Next. Phew!
Now time for lunch. Hoping DS has a nice nap so me and DD can play jigsaws in peace lol
Oops I've just eaten half a packet of Pombears whilst typing this... xMFW

Have pegged out towels and washed out DS's stinky duvet which is on the line now, drying in the tropical heat *wilt*. DW emptied.
have sorted the ironing pile and ironed a maidenful plus hangers so it's much reduced. Next load prepped for washer. I'm not running it now though.
More of DS's stuff removed from car.

Hello folks!
Interesting start to week. Woke up to discover catheter had come out. Cue emergency trip to hospital.
They managed to get a new one in, but it was very painful. Still, it means I don't have to.go.up.for renewal next week.
Hubby came too and has been a tower of strength.
Back home now. Sipping tea on.sofa.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Oh yikes CY how unpleasant - lots of rest and rehydration for you xxx
I finished the windows and did conservatory side of them too - not done all the conservatory Windows though - another day
Washed inside of both exterior doors, and been out to vac the car out, so that's all pristine (on the inside, lol).
Met next doors grandbeast, what a cutiedad arrived with bairn so I had a peek. Dad is my boiler man, so not some random stranger haha.
Put away bits from earlier shop visit, toothpaste, cotton wool pads etc so all stocked up there.
Phew, going to have a drink and cool off. Glad I lathered the littlies in all-day sunscreen this morning!
Oh, and their heely's have arrived  I think we will be playing out after school... They've been (nicely) asking for ages, and since my savings plan pays out this week I thought I'd treat them... Really pleased with payout too - was looking rather flat earlier in the year, but it's picked up since last month and is a tidy sum for kitchens and some other home imps I have planned for summer :TBossymoo

Hi all
How lovely that you have got this nice weather at the start of your "time off" Bossy, enjoy it. Hope you are OK now CY.
And Pigpen and Valli - support in abundance from here. Please feel free to vent, it helps, I know.
Have done some thinking over the weekend and I need to try to wrestle my life back under control. I have to do two jobs, for the time being, and me time is desperately short but I have to try. I have got various little ideas about what I am going to do but I made a start today by sitting outside for 30 minutes with my book and a cold drink.
So now its on with the paid stuff. Should get 2 hours done before I have to collect DS1 from work. Then I can do a bit more before my gym class at 7. Tea in in sc so nothing to worry about there. Right, better make a start.
Oh btw, anyone heard from LW? Is she happily enjoying having Mr LW around a bit more and being too busy to update us I wonder?0 -
