    Goodness me, I'm exhausted. I am stopping for the day now, save for the basics of clearing up after dinner and putting the small people to bed. In addition to what I posted earlier I have swept up the driveway and paths, played outside with the children and done a load of admin type jobs. I am shattered now so its feet up time, the kiddies want to be indoors now after a full day playing out so its time for a bit of TV before bathtime :cool:.

    YL - We all need to carve out a little time in each day for ourselves, no matter how tricky it seems. Your half hour of relaxing time will have been just the tonic to rejuvenate yourself. I hope you find a way to simplify things to give you the time you need and deserve.

    Have lovely evenings all xx::)

    Mr A done, lots of laundry done, and I've cleaned the kitchen since I was already out there washing dishes and putting shopping away. Just the floor to do in there now. Way too hot to do much else so I'm going to chill this evening apart from remaking beds later and getting organised for errands tomorrow morning. :wave:

    I had a (non alcoholic) beer in the garden after dinner :beer:

    Watered pot plants.

    We ate out there too - glorious! Even DD scoffed everything in front of her - poor littly hasn't eaten properly for a while because of aforementioned dangly tooth. Much happier now and it's under her pillow awaiting tooth fairy. I've been reliably informed they expect £1 now...

    I need to do a quick clear of the kitchen, put away leftovers etc but DW has been loaded and washing brought in. I will butter my feet in cream tonight I think, they feel very tight on top despite me applying sunscreen twice...

    Need to sort sandwiches for DS packup as well...

    I have also done half a days paid stuff, two WM's, some ironing, DW, swished bathroom, some froggy governer paperwork, paid the milk bill, paid some extra off the credit card, mowed the lawn and done some weeding. Phew!

    Aargh, Valli, I feel your pain. I had to get through an inspection my first week back after a total breakdown. It was one of the factors that eventually led me to quit teaching.

    We raised £147 this evening ... Lots of happy children and adults. Excellent scones-!

    Now shattered.

    Well done Ionafan. Hugs etc where needed for anyone else struggling at the moment.

    Last day off the paid stuff for me today and the friends I was supposed to be meeting up with have cancelled, so.....

    Think I got too much sun yesterday, only just getting rid of a nasty headache.

    Have a great day everyone.
