Hope the injection helps Narco. I am sure we could organise a flying sick note for you x

Boss came in my office at ten to twelve and said that if I was nearly done I could pack up and go home. I was out of there like a shot and even after a bit of shopping I was home before I officially finished work.

This afternoon will be gently pottering I think. I will do a bit of paid stuff in the morning. Need to look at my finances and will get the dog out for a walk if the rain stops. On and I will make a list and call at L*dl when I pick DS1 up from work.

Didnt get much extra done today but the rooms I have done this week look great compared to usual.

Will be trying to declutter more over the weekend. And get more onto ebay. I had an offer at £7 on something I'd listed for £10 so have until Sunday to decide. It seems almost churlish not to accpet given the fact its just 'stuff' to be rid of...

nicki I think there has been an email monster about. I dutifully walked Oz round to the pet sitter at 1200. No sign. Cue repeat emails and phone calls. Finally walked round again at 1445 (should have got a 1400 bus). She's sitting there having just got home. Hasn't received any of the emails I sent her yesterday confirming times, and hadn't looked at answering machine. I ran home to collect Ozzie and rucksack. Missed the next bus by 2 mins (he's VERRRY slow). Cue leaving Glasgow for Peebles at 1745 and rush hour rather than 1500 as planned.

Two nights in Peebles and then off to London. Meet up with a flylady, friends and family, and then a day out with the excuse to wear a hat and watch people wearing silly outfits on a racecourse.

Flying is suspended until further notice.

    Have a great weekend everyone.

Next on the list is another report; quick check round all rooms; go down and check church flowers (friend kindly brought some but as I already have 2 arrangements I may just take some of them to church); check greenhouse; tidy study for tomorrow's guest. Dunno what else, but the longer I sit here listing it, the less time to do it.......

Pretty much done all that. Mr N whizzed round kitchen so that looks shiny.
Made batch of oat biscuits, will try not to eat them before visitors arrive.
Also made patriotic flower arrangement for front door.
Hoovered church while I was there (with my left arm so obeying doctor's orders).
Packaged up ink cartridges for recycling.
Decided not to go to supermarket this eve as run out of motivation. Doubtless will have even less early tomorrow before BIL arrives, but can't be helped. Plan is to go there, home and hoover study which is now tidy for friend's son, go out with MIL, BIL and Mr N - unless I decide to be boring and stay home writing reports - lunch out to save hassle; friends with son arrive around 5.30 then up to 7 of us just picking at cheese/biscuits/snacks/oat biscuits.

No sign of the hedgehog this eve.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    Evening all.

Glad you had the injection, Narc0 - I hope it works at least as well for you as it did for me (and it worked very well for me!)

    Today I have
    - done WMx2 which became x3 because a very fetching pink colour ran onto DH's white T-shirts and my undies, so they had to be washed twice.
    - found my secateurs :T and deadheaded the garden plants
    - sorted more files
    - wrote nearly half a unit for the new course
    - cooked veg curry nom-nom
    - been to choir practice
    - watched a programme on iPlayer
    - slept for an hour after lunch but am still well ready for bed now.

Have a lovely time in London, FBO.

I'm off to a training course tomorrow and delivering a bike to DGS3+4, while DH will be playing trains, so this will be a no fly zone. Hope everyone has a good weekend x

    Morning,

We are watching a film on our new f!restick :)

About to do kiddies some breakfast when they get all the paper and pens off the table... I've sorted through yesterday's post and recycled most of it. Tidied kitchen. Inlaws coming this morning for a visit before their hols so I'm doing lunch - just simple jackets with various toppings. We've done Father's Day cards for FIL too. I haven't even got one for my own dad this year with him being away all month...

Washed my soaked whites last night but it's still wet here so they are on an airer in the conservatory. DD supposed to be at a dance thing this afternoon. They said bring wellies :rotfl:

    Morning

Actually had a little lie in this morning although not by pre child standards :) have made everyone bacon and pancakes. Housework has started with unloading the DW and cleaning the filter. There waa a chicken bone in there people! Grosse. I have just set it off on a hot wash empty to try and clean it out.
Done the same to the WM but pulling out the draw and de grossing the fabric softner draw so thats now running a 90 degree wash empty. Will have to remember go change it for the next wash or we'll all be sporting crop tops :)

    Back later
