Cant get interested in the footie. Been curled up on the sofa with the dog reading my new library book (me reading, not the dog!!!)
Bob I ended up spraying the trainers liberally with Flash bleach spray, giving them a light scrub and chucking them in the wm on the sports shoes setting at 30 degrees. They have come up almost like new, still one or two faint marks but DS2 is really pleased. I did say when he wanted to spend £75 on trainers that white wasnt the best colour but what do I know?0 -
Good work Yorkshire!
I cant settle down tonight either. Just did a quick task. Wiped out the cutlery draw and threw out 3 medicine spoons, a set of keys no one knew what they were for, a misshapen kids metal fork and then cleaned the cutlery tray and put everything back. Probably less than 15 mins the whole thing." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

We finally had some rain. A tropical monsoon, no less! Smells lovely now and has cooled everything down, so I am a happy bunny.
DH is collecting some bargain Heras fencing from a chap who advertised on our local FB page later this morning, so we can contain the animals when we start earth moving next weekend. Need to get our mud bank built, as the house insurance is due on 25th and I don't fancy the premium offered by our current insurer, so are hoping that the work will make us a more attractive prospect to other companies.
I'm actually starting to get excited about the work we are doing and planning the renovation work with precision detail. I bet it all goes to rat poo.
Still haven't heard how long it will be before I can get my bumble replaced. Apparently the engineer says it was damaged in the factory or on delivery, but they are now out of stock of this model. Might ask for a refund then go shopping (online, obvs).
Well done on the trainer restoration YL :T

Congrats to everyone in the sty on the safe arrival of new piglet Ottilie Violet. My grab was Violet. Lovely names.
Been flying in bil's office, so he's in a good mood, as well as sister minding. ddIs painting thee shed, she spent a lot of time on the prep but it looks like she might not finish the job today, due to rain. Not having a shower until later as I ended up filthy yesterday having been in e eaves storages did is getting paid for this and she is making an excellent job of it.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Hello all,
Trying to fight off BD, it's been here all week. Inlaws round tonight for birthday tea for Dd2, so have been trying to make inroads into the mess.
Have a good day all x0 -
Hi all
Dizzy I have no idea how it feels but I hope you do enjoy renovating the house and seeing it all start to look like a home again. Any idea when you might be able to move back in or is that not something you want to think about!?
I am supposed to be getting DHs tax return done so I can then do our tax credit renewals but this is too much like doing paid stuff so I am faffing about doing other things.
We have also taken a deep breath and looked at our fairly unhealthy finances this morning. We have a plan of sorts and I just need to be very very disciplined for the rest of the month.0 -
Afternoon all
Pigpen - Congratulations to you all, she's gorgeous :T
We've realised we don't need to go grocery shopping this weekend :j We have enough of everything in so I'll call into Mr A tomorrow on the way home from running to the bank etc
