Are you still checking out with the clothes in the on-line basket? You were waiting for payday.
Why not leave that until the end of the month and buy if you have money left over. It would give you an incentive to be budget aware throughout July. If you've checked your income and expenditure and haven't got enough can I suggest not buying the clothes ghis time?!
Best of luck with July. Only a few more months of the loan now.

Hi PSL,
Just catching up on your diary. I think you're in the same boat as me in that so much money is ring fenced for debt repayment, that you have nothing left for all the little things that add up each month. Once I've killed off my credit card my plan is to keep a bit of the money aside for essentials, and then put the rest into the debt, rather than put it all into the debt. That way I won't get stressed out about all the little things that i need to buy like toiletries. The same might maybe work for you with your loan money once that is paid off!
Hope all is well with you otherwise- I'm hating the sweaty London commute in this warm weather, dunno how you do it everyday!! XxLoan £13,339.81 (4.9%) Current End Date Dec 2020

I am the same this week, spent like a rich person but on a poor persons budget LOL
Will need to see the damage by the end of this week when all the card transactions come off!

I've had a real spendy start of the month too! Now having as many NSD & LSD (under £5) as possible. Also cancelling some expenditure for now as really have spent more than enough in the past few days.0
