Thank you for the link. I had a look and there was something on there about balance transfer cards as well. (i have all 0% but 1 at 18%) So i applied and got accepted for 0% 18 months limit £2000.
Going to transfer £1700 which leaves a small amount at 18% which I should pay off by christmas. I hope i do. Haven't done this yet. The fee is around 1 months interest.
Thank you so much for this!
Even more reason for intense posting from now on. This will mean once loan is paid off everything is 0% but from january nothing will attract interest. Feel a bit anxious about adding to my cards total but if I can make this work it will be the right thing in long run.
Total credit limit in my name is £27,300. Over a quarter of my mortgage.
This is a bit frightening and when I can close some accounts I will feel better. This does includes total loan of £5,500 originally and £500 overdraft. Not near the limit but need to make myself behave to sort this out.
My diary is basically empty in october, not voicing this to my friends and hopefully they all think I am mega busy rather than the truth!
But tommorow is Tuesday. Planned NSD. :T2017- 5 credit cards plus loan

Stuck to plan today. 6 days to payday. Got lunch organised tomorrow. Just need to stick to the wednesday plan and get home in budget. Its up in the air tommorow. Im hoping its very cheap and no eating. Work is very busy right now and i am leaving at 5 all week. That wont go down well but i think I need my evenings right now.
Did laugh when i got home hsbc writing to me with loan rates 3.3%. Except I already know my rate is a whopping 8%. But i also know I am never ever getting another loan. Absolutely hate it. £153 every month for nothing. Officially 13 payments left but probably more like 6. At the end of the month £1838. Almost there. Not long to go, if I stick to the plan for each day it will all come good in the end.
So for tomorrow stick to wednesday plan. That is all. xxx2017- 5 credit cards plus loan

Evening PSL
It really is about taking it a day at a time. Some days are easier then other some are a lot harder. The harder ones have the biggest impact on our bum debt free days so be strong and think of the end goal! Xxemergency fund:£179/ £1000 Uniform/car fund:£

Deviated from the plan slightly. Coffee at lunch time with work colleague but the office was driving me absolutely insane. Just totally had to escape. Spent £2.40 which is ok.
Staying in tonight. Food shop tommorow morning. I have everything I need tonight. Cooked spaghetti for tonight's tea and curry defrosting for tomorrows tea. Next weekend i am going to order a dominos. I absolutely love it and need to factor in a few planned treats. Debt busting is much easier with a full tummy and small things to look forward to. Also once the exams are done i am going to go to the cinema a lot more. I love going, but go so very rarely so plan to change this.
Today and yesterday a success's. Tommorow i budget £15 for saturday and sunday and in addition £15 food shop of the £80 for the month.
This week in isolation has gone well. Next week i have 2 lunches out which will impact things a bit but no evening plans at all so could be ok. Plus excitement of loan going down to £1838 and maximum of 12 payments.
All good for the time being.
See what tommorow brings.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan

Such a lovely morning. Cool but sunny. Makes the world feel a lot happier.
Been to tesco this morning £16 which is over budget. If I had gone to lidl would have been in budget. Overall within budget tho. Not a great shop.

Its 2 days to payday. Feel quite heartened, this means only 6 months left of loan. Can't wait till i am in a position to clear it and then onto the credit cards. And one day, one day plan a holiday without feeling layers of guilt.
I now have 5 credit cards and its even more important to manage them well. 3 cut into bits and 2 in use but being managed.
Overdraft being cleared on Tuesday and october being careful. November being strict and boring and december organising christmas as best i can.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan

I love poppadoms I always keep a packet if them or buy nice naans to go with homemade curry to make it feel like more of a treat and hopefully stop me ordering takeaway. Carbs are my fav!!

Haha. This made me laugh. I am very good at pressing wrong buttons too.
Spent £5.20 on coffee and cake today then dinner at home. Feel very spendy. 2 more days to payday but lots of payday rules to stick to.
What a horrible struggle this whole debt thing is.
Mbna £8000 reducing to £7920
Loan £1991 reducing to £1838

Organise christmas presents - quite expensive £80
Thur

Fri
Lunch out £16
Food shop - £15

Sunday

The christmas thing is a family tradition I am part of. Its hard to explain (its a specific family thing we do) its kind of fixed so although its a lot, its kind of a family tax that just needs to be.
Top priority is overdraft this month. Then not wasting money on alcohol and sticking to food budget. Last week was ok but going into the overdraft kind of frightened me.
I was out for lunch tommorow but cancelled on so now only social times are friday lunch and saturday day. This is quite useful, will try and gain from 4 days with nothing happening. Most of the bills paid out next week, not this week so try and stick to the plan and see how it all looks.
